Excellent in all ways; Two shortcomings I found my experience at Fred Bean's wonderful overall. The staff were friendly, courteous and respectful. The price was fair; the staff knew the cars very very well. I started my purchase journey via the Internet; I spoke and corresponded with Crystal.. She was able to get me started. Just a observation, I was turned over to a sales rep, it was not made clear at first she was not going to be the person to handle the sale. She made that clear once I set foot on the Bean campus. The sale rep was execellent. He knew the car and assisted me throughout the process. He was a big help and was the main reason I purchased the car from Bean's. I am from Northwest Philadelphia; there are Subaru dealerships much closer. This leads me to one of the shortcomings of my experience. One failure is Fred Bean not having a showroom in lower Montgomery or inner Delaware counties. Doylestown is just too far. Second I did not appreciate the "up-sell' or whatever it's called that the sales manager was trying on me. I spent a pretty penny for the car, if these things are so necessary then make them standard. Don't waste mt time with special paint jobs and other nonsense. More
