I needed a diagnostic since my engine light was on just to be sure of what the proble My 2000 Toyota Solara had an engine cylinder misfire problem. I needed a diagnostic since my engine light was on just to be sure of what the problem was.So I took it to an Oreilly autoparts store who checked it for free. So I decided to take it to Fred Haas Toyota World for repairs. I mean a bad fuel injector shouldn't cost too much to install right? WRONG!I was told that they needed to do a diagnostic test to find the problem.The charged was $108.00 for the diagnosis just to tell me there was a bad fuel injector.Fred Haas also wanted an additional $516.00 to repair just 1 injector. NO WAY! So I took my car, bought the part from a wholesale parts store for $36.00 and spend another $40.00 for tools and injector cleaner.I mean seriously with my wifes help of holding a lamp while I did the repair, It took less than 2 hours(90 minutes)to take everything apart and put it all back in my own garage. Fred Haas do not warranty there work,over charge you for repairs and call you to tell you about every other little problem except what you brought the vehicle in for. More
This is the first time that I have purchased a foreign car. I am 72. The friendliness and professionalism of Rene' was incredible. I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. Chris was a perfect gentleman, never pressure me to make a decision. After having visited four other dealerships prior to going to Hass, I know a good deal was a perfect gentleman, never pressure me to make a decision. My boyfriend and I Just purchased a new 2012 toyota highlander.(which i love!!) Joe was very patient with us and not pushy. Joe was great to work with in making us a deal within our budget. he consistently went back and forth with his boss to get us where we wanted to be on purchasing our vehicle. We were immediately helped when we got in, the sales associate we had called initially was busy so he had another gentleman help us, Robert Hutching. Mr. Hutching was very friendly and professional. We were treated with dignity and respect, he answered all our questions thoroughly and helped us to get a fair deal. Deal was very straight forward. Robert was my salesman and was the consummate professional. I was particularly impressed that he was able to get answers to all of my questions. I usually hate working with used car managers with these canned lines like "what will it take to get you in this vehicle today?" John Fontenot was just the opposite. He was all business, straight forward and when we reached a number we both could live with, sealed it with a Texas handshake. Payment in finance department with Albert was equally smooth. More
