Sadly not my #1 Toyota Dealer as they like to say. I am in the search for a new vehicle and thought since I had some time to go visit this dealership. I was greeted as soon as I got out of my car by “sales in the search for a new vehicle and thought since I had some time to go visit this dealership. I was greeted as soon as I got out of my car by “sales person” Kamran. I told him I was interested in test driving a Rav4 and Tacoma along with my time frame, features to look for and understanding of the current car industry impact with the chip shortage. He told me I would not be able to see any new vehicles as they have none on the lot except for pre-sold units which was fine. He told me my only option is to pre-order a unit and no need to wait since this global shortage will last to 2024. I asked well do you have any 2021 pre-owned rav4 that I can test drive. I’m larger then average in height and have an issue fitting in every car. I also wanted to test drive and feel the responsiveness and handling of the vehicle. He took me to the pre-owned side of the dealership and showed me some Rav4 and Tacoma’s. I asked if I can see inside one of the RAV4’s and he never said yes or no or got any keys. I felt ignored but still getting watched by Kamran at the same time. (Weird feelings) He told me he took in a Tacoma this past week that is not on the lot that is in the back. He said it was perfect for me because a “women drove it” he kept repeating how a “women” drive it and that means they didn’t drive it hard. It’s crazy that we live in 2021 and a gender is generalized like that so inaccurately. The cherry on top is his key pitch is “we are the #1 volume Toyota dealer in Texas so we have the best prices” that is not true, just because you sell a lot does not mean you are the best value for customers. Watch out for their window tint and paint protection for $1,190. They use the affordable window tint max $200 per car and probably even forget to install the pain protection if there service is anything like there sales. He also tried to tell me “Toyota care” 2 year maintenance for new vehicles is exclusively at this Toyota dealers and if I went to another dealership I would not get it. At the end of the day he didn’t let e look inside any vehicles, and never got to test ride the vehicle I’m trying to decide to purchase in the next month. Look out other Toyota dealers guess I will be visiting you soon. Thanks for the 1-star experience at Fred Haas Toyota World Kamran. More
I've been searching for a 2022 Tundra truck for a couple months. After speaking with plenty of dealers in Texas it was clear that Fred Haas in Spring was the most professional and knowledgeable of the bunch months. After speaking with plenty of dealers in Texas it was clear that Fred Haas in Spring was the most professional and knowledgeable of the bunch. 1st off I would never pay adjusted market BS and they explained that they don't play that game so I put my deposit down and Today they called to tell me it has finally arrived. Went down and was driving out in less than an hour. Thanks Ryan, Jimmy and Billy for the best experience ever! More
So I submitted for a quote on Toyota's website and got a call back from FRED Haas saying I would be put on their list if the model I specified became available. Fast forward a week later (today), get a call call back from FRED Haas saying I would be put on their list if the model I specified became available. Fast forward a week later (today), get a call from the dealer that the exact build I wanted in the exact color I wanted came in today and that the person that had put a deposit on it had BACKED OUT! No WAY, right? So I ask her to double check because as fast as these thing seem to be flying off the shelf I don't want to make the 45 min drive and have it sold out from under me. She assured me, if so, she would call me while I was in transit so I can turn around. I grab my checkbook and run out the door. I get there and was greeted by the person expecting me. Turns out not only do they NOT have the truck (never did) but that the two that were there (not the model I was even interested in) had been for customers with deposits and that I couldn't even sit in one. He then said there must have been a misunderstanding because they thought I was coming in to put a deposit on one! BAIT AND SWITCH. Man dealers are just a sleezy as they have always been. I know..I know... I'm trusting and dumb... too good to be true. Just thought I'd share so no one else gets hoodwinked. Total waste of time and gas.... Won't ever do business there for sure! Just FYI was working with Sharon Vaughn (claimed to be internet sales manager) and her partner Danny. Her original email to me said "My job is to make the best use of your time in order to create a great purchase experience." What a crock! More
I bought a brand new car last year from this disreputable dealership. I work for an auto repair shop and was told I could get my shop to do any warranty work I might need. This was the first lie. I was g dealership. I work for an auto repair shop and was told I could get my shop to do any warranty work I might need. This was the first lie. I was given a big pitch about all the bells and whistles my car came with to try out for a limited time. I was really interested in the remote start feature. I got so many calls about setting it up and an entire trees worth of mail as well. After trying to set it up for a couple of MONTHS and hours spent on the phone with different “experts” I learned from my own research that it isn’t even available on my car because I have a manual transmission. I got a nail in a tire and was just going to have my shop get a new tire. Not so fast - turns out it is a proprietary tire - for a Corolla. They told me to get it I would have to drive the 20 miles to their dealership even though they said it was under warranty. Instead I had them deliver the tire to my shop and they kept it at retail pricing. Next I had my battery go bad. Instead of being able to provide the dealership with proof of the dead battery, they wanted me to have it TOWED the 20 miles so they could verify it themselves to replace it. I was expected to take hours of my time for something we had computer verification of, for a dead battery in a year old car. I really think they look for any reason to not take care of their customers. Now, I have one of the tracks that moves my seat closer and farther from the steering wheel stripped to the point that I can barely get it close enough to drive. Even though I am supposed to work until 6PM I left work early so I could have a car I could safely drive. I tried to make an appointment online but that said it would be next week before I could make an appointment. Since it is a safety issue I decided to leave work early and make the drive. Their service department is open until 7PM. I tried calling but kept being put on hold and getting voicemails. I get here an hour before they close only to be told all of their technicians are gone by 5PM. It’s the complete opposite of what I was told when I had the other problems. I was told then, as long as I was here before closing they would take care of me. The lies they tell continue to grow. Add to this their lovely service writer starts off telling me that it’s going to cost me $150 to look at my car to even find out if it is a warranty issue because maybe I did something to modify it or tamper with it. Great customer service, to start a conversation with accusations. I asked to speak to the manager who told me I will have to come back tomorrow and apologized for not having a cushion I could sit on in place of a seat that works. Typically of all the bad press dealerships get - they will promise anything to get the sale and then you have to learn it is all lies. Do not go here. I wouldn’t trust them with an oil change. They do anything to get out of honoring their warranty and treat people who actually have to work for a living abysmally. Do NOT even consider paying extra for anything related to a warranty because it’s nothing but lies. More
I cannot think of one nice thing to say about this place. From the salesman, to his sales manager to finance manager to service department….they are all completely awful! Salesman lied to us about the sale, sales manager was impossible to get in touch with regarding several issues, finance department ran my credit 4 times, and service department seriously needs help with what I was told was an easy fix! I traded in one car and was owed the difference and that took over a week and multiple calls and pop ins to find out status. Forced to purchase the addendum ($1400) only to find out tint can’t be put on my car and still fighting for the money back. Only nice people I’ve had interaction with are the 2 young receptionists! The communication error on the radio failed, I was told “easy fix” by several people, 2nd visit to fix I waited over 3 hours. Seriously find a different dealer to purchase a Toyota…this place is a nightmare! More
We had been shopping in the San Antonio area with very little hope in finding what we were looking for. A friend suggested we try someone he had purchased his Toyotas from in the past. He said that if we were willing to drive to Houston, we would not be disappointed. He told us to call Sharon Vaughn with Fred Haas Toyota World. We did, and we don't regret it! We told Sharon what we wanted, and in only a few days we were driving our brand new 2022 XLE Highlander! She worked with us on our trade-in and made sure we were comfortable with our new car's bells and whistles before we left the dealership that evening. Thumbs up to Sharon Vaughn at Fred Haas Toyota World for such personalized service! More

I'm wondering why they give appointments if it takes 3 hours. If they don't have enough employees, then they should not give appointments. This is been happening for several times. Really disappointed. More
