Why can't they all be like Mike? Popped into Fred Mueller for the first time one day looking for a vehicle, ideally something that could seat at least 6. Didn't have much of an idea w Popped into Fred Mueller for the first time one day looking for a vehicle, ideally something that could seat at least 6. Didn't have much of an idea what would be available or in our price range, and didn't really have a timeframe in which I was looking to purchase a vehicle. Basically, I was looking for the right vehicle at the right price, and when found, that would make it the right time. Mike was friendly and helpful, and patient - I think I drove at least 3 vehicles that day over the course of more than 3 hours. Despite working with other guests during that time, Mike acknowledged us between vehicles so we knew what to expect. That may not seem like much, but it's more than I've experienced elsewhere. That day, nothing really hit the spot or settled in, so Mike took some notes on what I was looking for and said he'd keep an eye out. I was dubious, as historically this has meant "I'll contact you to keep asking you about the cars you looked at". Sure enough, Mike let me know about several other cars that might be of interest, as they came in, and was up front with things (scratches, dings, feature differences, pricing). Over the course of several weeks, I must have stopped by the dealership another 4 or 5 times to check something out. Mike was always professional (whether communicating via phone, text, or in person). Eventually, Mike found me something that while a bit more than I was intending to spend, had significantly fewer miles than anything I was previously considering. I made the decision to purchase it, on the condition that "my list" was taken care of. Mike made sure that everything on that list was addressed, whether it be simply getting me information or addressing something cosmetic or functional with the vehicle. I never felt pressure, and it was great to have Mike looking out for me. While a vehicle transaction is something a dealership and a salesperson are regularly involved in, I can't say the same for me. Mike and the team at Fred Mueller understand this. The purchasing process was quick and smooth, but not forced. Questions were answered. Time was taken. I (again) kept Mike at work after the dealership was supposed to have closed (not that Mike said anything about it, but I had my eye on the clock). And after the sale, service continued. Mike texted me to see how things were going, well after business hours. The day after the sale, I had more questions. Mike worked to address them through text or call. I've thankfully never had a bad experience at a dealership, but none have come close to being as good of an experience as this. Thanks, Mike! More
