Called to make an appointment for an oil change. He asked what time would I like to come in and I said can you do 430? He said that wasn’t a problem. He then asked if I would need a ride or if I was going to wait? I requested a ride (first time I’ve done that) in which he then told me they don’t offer the shuttle service anymore. Not sure why he asked if it’s not an option. I also told him I had a coupon for $30 oil change and he said just bring it in tomorrow when you come in for the service. When I checked in for my oil change at 4:20 I was again asked if I needed a ride or was going to wait. I told the lady I was told there’s no shuttle service anymore so I bought my work with me but if there’s an option I’d prefer a ride as it was inconvenient. She said there’s no shuttle service but they order an uber but then told me it’s not an option. I said I’d prefer a ride as I could go home and get dinner started. She acted like I needed a good reason to ask for a ride and repeated so you want a ride so you can go home and make dinner. I said yes. She said well you’re the last appt of the day and we close at 6 so we can’t give you a ride. Would you like to reschedule? I asked how long will the appointment take and she said an hour and a half. She said a lot of places stop making appointments after 2pm. I’m not sure how that’s relevant. That’s not this dealership I’m at and nobody mentioned an issue with making an appointment at 4:30 when I did. If there was an issue, I could have accommodated. I’m also not sure what the time of day has to do with a ride being available or not. If the appointment is an hour and a half, it’s an hour and a half whether before 2 PM or at 4:30 PM. I told her it’s my time they’re disregarding but that I’m not rescheduling, I’m already here. She was super rude about it. What I don’t understand is, why was I asked twice, both times when making the appointment, and when arriving, if I would like a ride or not if a ride is not available and then you’re going to argue with me about why it’s not available for me. Also, when I went to go check out, a different lady went to go give me the bill and I said I have a coupon. She then tells me well you’re supposed to present it when you first come in. I didn’t know that but have also used a coupon before without an issue. She seemed pretty frustrated that she had to then go and reapply it. It was a terrible situation all around with horrible service, and I only came in because I had a coupon for an oil change, but that type of service makes me not want to come back for anything when I actually do have an issue. I’ve come in for oil changes before with the coupons. I’ve never had an issue, but apparently this time was different. I’ve also supplied my own ride before and never took up the offer for that service, but clearly it’s not really an option. I had other things to do that evening and being able to go home, make dinner and not have to wait an hour and a half for an oil change that should really take 30 minutes would have been helpful. I also don’t understand why it takes so long for an oil change when you make an appointment. I can understand if I was a walk-in, but I had an appointment. I’m completely turned off from this dealership and the service. More
