service for alternator repair I initially hesitated going to Freeland because of the reputation of the previous owner of this dealership location. I had only heard (no pun intende I initially hesitated going to Freeland because of the reputation of the previous owner of this dealership location. I had only heard (no pun intended) good things about Freeland and had bought some parts there, from some nice folks. I had purchased a used hard to find low mileage diesel truck sight unseen from Ohio and, as it was unseen, got a 3rd party service contract thru Penn Warrantee. All fine until I needed a new alternator, as the bearings began whining. Decided to try Freeland as they are convenient to me. Long story short, the warrantee was not worth buying, but Jonathan Stainton-James went above and beyond, did all the hassling about the service contract, got approval, and got the service done. I am very pleased with his efforts on my behalf, and very pleased with the work. The truck runs great again, and I know where to go for service. More
