My past experiences with Freeman Toyota Service Center have been positive. This appointment was less than the 5 Star service I have come to expect from Freeman Toyota. I scheduled a service appointment have been positive. This appointment was less than the 5 Star service I have come to expect from Freeman Toyota. I scheduled a service appointment for an oil change using the online portal for my daughter's 2017 RAV 4 on 1/12. I received a notice in December 2023 from Toyota that a recall (23TB13) had been issued for Toyota Rav 4's from 2013-1018 so I requested that this recall be serviced. At the appointment my daughter was told that Freeman Service Center could not perform the necessary recall as issued by the manufacturer because the dealership was waiting for further instruction to address the recall. To me this doesn't make sense. Why would the manufacturer issue a recall without providing to it's dealerships a solution? So, I reached out to Peter Stevenson with both an email and text. I'm still waiting to hear from Mr. Stevenson why the recall was not addressed at the appointment. I would accept a plausible explanation. Failure to answer is not acceptable. I am hoping that my future appointments with Freeman will be better. More

I request of Steve: ensure no movement of seat. Not to turn on radio. Not to turn on temperature controls. He placed a note on dash, (great big font) clearly visible to whom ever moved truck. Well, 1 out of 3 ain’t great. Radio was not on. But Seat was moved & temp controls on high. Also, rear view mirror & driver side mirror were adjusted. So the question is: does it matter what the customer requests ? More
Took over 2-1/2 hours with appt. Technician stripped out my oil pan drain plug and service manager said it was my problem and said I would have to replace oil pan next oil change.
