Toyota Freeman significantly worsened a crack on my windshield. The sales rep initially said the windshield would be replaced at no cost to me, then recanted. I have been doing business with freeman for numerous years. I hadn’t vehicle in for service the other day and once again I was told I needed new filters and $850 dollars worth of other service items. I years. I hadn’t vehicle in for service the other day and once again I was told I needed new filters and $850 dollars worth of other service items. I have been working with Steve Curry in the past and was glad to see him back so there for I went ahead and had the filters replaced even though I know I could have gotten them for a 1/4 of the price then what freeman charges. And very easy to install. I decided to defer the additional $850 worth of service which was a good thing because obviously I really have a margin of 15.000 mile before those are actually recommended. My point is that is seems the last few time I brought my vehicle in for service I seem to be the victims of the “upsale”. i don’t blame this on Steve Curry because he is awesome I blame on what appears to be a recent freeman service culture! With that being said I will still. continue to use freeman for service but with a more cautionary approach! More
