If I could give a zero star I would. I spent 5 hours and drove 60 miles round trip to be used, abused and insulted during a cash offer to purchase a new car. They advertised the new car I spent 5 hours and drove 60 miles round trip to be used, abused and insulted during a cash offer to purchase a new car. They advertised the new car online for a MSRP of $48,885 with $1750 savings for a sales price of $47,135. After driving the car and ready to deal I thought ok I could try negotiating a lower price than the $47,135 or just pay full price of $47,135 plus tax, doc fees and license. To my amazement I was presented an offer from them to purchase the car that appeared to have over $9000 for dealer fees, adders and etc. including a $5000 market adjustment which all added to north of $61,000 for a sales price for the car. When I talked to management and explained that their ad said the car price at Chapman/Freeway Chevrolet was $47,135 and I was willing to pay that plus taxes, doc fees and license .......management laughed at me. Eventually management grudgingly agreed that the owner was willing to sell the car for approximately $54,000. I offered approximately $52,000 because their add price plus taxes and license would come to that number. They refused to sell the car for the $52,000 price which matched their advertised price. Yes I felt very used abused and insulted over how I was treated and believe they kept the car to look for the next sucker that will pay north of $61,000. More

I visited the dealership based on an online pricing process, for both my trade-in and a new car (trailblazer), I received a call from a certain 'Mike' to finish the paper work. During my visit I asked process, for both my trade-in and a new car (trailblazer), I received a call from a certain 'Mike' to finish the paper work. During my visit I asked the dealer to quote me an out to door price for a Trailblazer Aktiv, but the difference was $ 4,000 between my expectation and theirs. I left without making a deal. A couple of daya late I received another call to negotiate and we agreed on spliotting the difference in half. I cleaned my car, grabbed my title, went to the bank to get a cashier check as requested by the dealer. When we started doing the paperwork (with a certain Kevin), I realized that they switched the car from'Aktiv' to 'TL'. I normally requested to honor the deal on the original car, but they tried to renogtiate the price. I grabbed my keys and my ID and hit the road. This is the kind of dealer that earned the reputation of dishonesty for the automobile dealership industry. More
