Communication + Service Lacking. I was told my car would be done in a few hours after dropping it off. I did drop it off a day early by accident, but the service that followed was inc I was told my car would be done in a few hours after dropping it off. I did drop it off a day early by accident, but the service that followed was incredibly frustrating and poor. I was called that night to say it would be done instead by the next morning at 10 am. When I called the morning they said it would be done, they hadn't even started. On top of that, I was told I could pick my car up after hours because of when I got off of work. I was told to go to reception. I went to get my car around 7, an hour after closing, and found all of the doors locked and lights off. How was I supposed to pick up my car?? I took 3 ubers in those three days, amounting to about $60. Then I was charged $160 for basically a fuel sample, which resulted in them telling me nothing was wrong with my car. That is a ridiculous price for this kind of service. Nolan, in Sales, was amazing. He was the only one in the building when I tried to pick my car up "after hours" and searched for my keys and info. He was very apologetic and understanding. More

Happy Customer I have used Freeway Ford as my service center for at least 15 yrs. I have always had excellent service at reasonable prices. I needed an oil change I have used Freeway Ford as my service center for at least 15 yrs. I have always had excellent service at reasonable prices. I needed an oil change and brakes replaced because I had nearly 70,000 miles on my 2013 Ford Explorer. I also had a recall on linkage for the rear axle to be completed. Tyler Sundberg was the service rep who helped me out. He gave me an estimate on the work needed and approximate completion time. The price came in lower than the estimate and time shorter. Thanks again for your great service department! More

AMAZING I spend a few days looking for vehicles, and every dealership wanted to charge me way more than what I was comfortable paying. I was treated as just another number to those other dealerships. Finally I decided to check out freeway ford and I will never go to another dealership! Walter and RJ, went above and beyond to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted with the payments I could afford. Great new staff! I see a whole bunch of new faces since my last oil change. The new staff is great! They are engaging and courteous and very helpful! Something else I really appreciate is that if you decide to preformed a repair yourself someone is willingly to give you pointers that is definitely very cool. I highly recommend the Freeway Ford Service Center to anyway whether they bought their car there or not and regardless of make or model! More

Dishonest Quote for Service Item This is a review of the service dept. They provided a dishonest quote, saying I needed new rear & front brakes @ $800.00. Specifically, they said the This is a review of the service dept. They provided a dishonest quote, saying I needed new rear & front brakes @ $800.00. Specifically, they said the rear brakes were "metal on metal" and the fix needed to happen ASAP. I thought it was odd since I have never heard any noise when braking (and my car is relatively new at 35,000 miles). I had a road trip planned for the same week, so wanted to get a second opinion. I went to Midas on Lake Street in Minneapolis. What a difference in customer service & honesty. They told me I am good to go for now + at least 5,000 miles (and even showed me the brake pads up against the measuring tool) - at no charge. They also documented that there are 8MM and 5MM left on the pads (versus the 0MM and 1MM that Ford documented). I do have paperwork showing the difference. To add to the poor experience at Ford, they also could not find my keys at the end of my quick lane appt (which took two hours). And they forgot )or just decided not to) do one thing I wanted (pull the door code). Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for me) by that time I was out of patience and time. They also said they wanted $50.00 which seemed steep to get a door code #. It could be standard, I am not sure. The woman at the service reception desk was kind and friendly. I hate giving a bad review, but it is sometimes needed to prevent others from having a shady experience. I won't be back. This is for the Freeway Ford in Bloomington on Lyndale. More
