Took my 2023 4Runner in for a 15k miles service. My appointment was at 8:45. I had to wait a few minutes for my service advisor to help (this was not a real issue). Over two hours passed and I received no call or message from the service staff. I walked outside and saw my vehicle parked in the lot in front of the service department. I went to the service advisor and he told me my vehicle was done over 20 minutes prior. And he thought he sent me a message, but apologized if he didn’t. That evening I reviewed my invoice and saw that according to the service technician, the engine air filter was dirty, but they did not replace it. It appears that they are trying to save costs because I paid for the service package when I purchased the vehicle. It was my first time to get my car serviced at this dealership. Ramiro was very kind and approachable and this part of my experience at Toyota Fremont was a pleasant one, except... I'm not sure if it was just an absolutely busy day when I had my car brought in for service but 5 hours of waiting time is way too long. My appointment was at 10 am and I was told that it'll take roughly about 2.5 hours (which was perfectly fine and was willing to wait at the dealership) but it was not finished until 3:15pm. Other guests were getting very impatient as well because of they had the same experience as I did. More
