Was tried to faultly accuse of getting oil change done elsewhere and shoved with a bunch of services to get done if the oil filter cap needs to be replaced under warranty. Never at this dealership again in my life. I just wanted to get away from that place the day of actual service More
Horrible communication and continuous follow up from our service rep from start to finish. Zero sense of urgency to get back to us and when we picked up our car is was a 40 min long process just to have hi service rep from start to finish. I brought my car in for an electronic issue that was causing the transmission to go into limp mode which makes it pretty much undrivable as it can leave you stranded. Initially diagnosed as a faulty TC causing the transmission to go into limp mode which makes it pretty much undrivable as it can leave you stranded. Initially diagnosed as a faulty TCM, I approved the repair as well as some maintenance items recommended and thought all was good. A week later, I was told the vehicle was ready and when I came to pick it up, everything went south. When about to drive the car off, the fan was making noise and hitting something in engine compartment that had never happened before. Additionally, I noticed my Rocker Panels (RP) are now warped when both items were not an issue when I brought my car in, which I noted to my SA (Service advisor Gaven) whom would later pass this off to the Service Manager (Chris M). I explained to the SA that I knew exactly what happened with my RP’s and it was due to improper jacking methods needed for my specific model and the design of the RP because I went thru this same issue many years ago with another dealership whom acknowledged that they damaged them and replaced both with new factory parts and ever since then, I have been hyper vigilant when taking it for service that requires jacking. Over the next 2 months my car was in an out of the shop for the same electronic issue as the replacement TCM did not correct the issue as well as received continued assurance my RP’s will be fixed. During the second month the dealership had my vehicle entirely in their possession the whole time and did not get back to my requests for updates and Chris M (Service Manager) flat out refused my calls as I left 2 messages with the operator and one detailed vmail for Chris and he never made any attempt to return my calls. I thought about showing up in person but decided against it thinking that that may retaliate and take even longer on the repairs to my vehicle as it was somewhat of a “hostage” at this point since I paid $1260 for the initial repair of the TCM which did not fix the problem and now I also have additional damage the dealer was responsible for. Plus what kind of business makes you take time out of your day to show up in person instead of a returning a phone call! I ended up contacting Dodge SRT Customer care line after not being able to get updates from the dealership for a week. Dodge then became my only real communication line from the dealer over the next week and a half until I received text from the SA saying they believe the problem is fixed after finding a faulty pin in the TCM connector. After paying for replacing a TCM (that turned out not to be the problem) the dealer damaging my car and initial taking ownership saying that they would correct them to then change the story to how can we be sure that we were responsible for the damage I was done with the whole ordeal and was ready to get my vehicle back since they were now clear on their position on not fully restoring my RP’s to the condition they were when l left the car in their possession. Additionally in the whole 2 months of the ordeal, I kept asking for the paperwork of the initial repair that I had paid for. Was told there was an issue with the printer and would email it. Three more requests for this went unanswered and I never did get any paperwork until I finally picked up my car. Made me feel they were purposely holding on to the paperwork so that they go back and edit any work or notes of worked performed up to that point in case they decided to change the storyline. Dealer did not even put everything back the way it was. (new rattle in dash from screw that was not put back and was on the floorboard. Next time I will be driving to McKinney or Lewisville. It is now a month later and the same problem is happening where the transmission is getting disabled, making the car undriveable. So now I am out $1260, plus having to deal with the cost and headache of my damaged Rocker Panels. More
