Please learn from my mistake. Do NOT buy/trade, or sell with this dealership. They operate a very unethical business. I purchased a vehicle from them on March 8th, 2024 and traded them my vehicle, which was in excellent shape. I reside 2 1/2 hours away but it appeared to be a good deal so I made the drive. I drove the vehicle I purchased home and immediately every power window, door lock, power mirror, memory seat, everything electronic quit working. I immediately called them the following morning (they were closed the previous evening when I got home) and I requested to bring the defective vehicle back and retrieve my trade, which obviously was still there. They refused and said "That is not an option." Ultimately I had to take it to the local dealership as the vehicle I purchased was still under manufacturers warranty as it was only 2 years old. After leaving and bringing it back to the local dealership several times over a 9 day period as everything continued to fail, they finally got it repaired. The other issue with Gainesville GMC is they don't pay their bills. It is currently March 26th and my bank that I had my orignal vehicle loan that I traded to Gainesville GMC has not been paid off by them yet and I have a car payment due the first of April that I will have to make so I don't negatively affect my credit. My bank explained that they understood that I traded the vehicle but since the loan is still active I must make that payment to avoid a late pay. I also have a new loan with my same bank for the vehicle I just purchased that I'll need to pay as well. When I traded the vehicle to Gainesville GMC they had me get the "10 day pay off" number from my bank and I was told they would send that amount to them. That never happened. I called Gainesville GMC on about the 20th of March to ask what happened to them paying off my trade. A receptionist said finance would call me back and that "It routinely takes 30 days for them to pay the loan." How is that possible when the payoff amount is only good for 10 days. I then called Gainesville GMC at about 9:15 AM on March 25th and left a long detailed message and asked for a call back to resolve this issue. It's more than 24 hours later and no call back. I am going to leave this same review on every website that they advertise on, Cars.com, Carguru, Carmax, etc. to try and warn as many people as I can. In addition, I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau as well to make sure that they are aware of the complaint. Do NOT deal with this dealership, you will absolutely regret it, they are not honest people. More
Very disappointed in the after the sale. Won't return calls pertaining to finance and warranty cancelation. There isn't any email correspondence to corporate. They seem to be only interested in selling you a vehicle. I don't live in the area, but I wonder if the service is as negligent. My Bank wired cash to them for purchase of my vehicle and they refused to wire it back when I went with their financing. Now my Bank has offered to beat their financing and their extended warranty, and I can't get anyone to call me back to cancel it. Very shady business dealings. I got a great deal but the cost of doing business with them isn't worth my trouble again. More

Skylar was great,but the finance people would tell us one price then it would be changed when we go back in. This happened twice to us wasn't happy about that. I purchased the vehicle from another state. Sales was friendly and appeared to be knowledgeable. However, it was apparent that he was green and was not good at communicating. When transferred to the finance manager it was the worse experience I've ever had. Tried to get me to pay $10k for a warranty package without telling me. He focused on the monthly payment only. It wasn't until I saw the paperwork I was signing that I realized the deceit. I immediately told him to remove all warranty, then he tried to Shane me because if that. Then I was asked several times to provide paperwork I had already provided. After all of that, I was told the car was ready to be picked up. My service had to wait two hours and the excuse was that they were cleaning the car. Why tell me it's ready when it was not? Then several days later I was asked to provide a picture of the back of my license again. I informed him that it was already provided and he said he couldn't find it, then a few minutes later he (Richard) said he had it. Clearly showed no organizational skills. Finally, when I received the car there was water in one of the headlights and the leather was peeling off the dashboard, which was not disclosed. The morale of the story is so not buy a car without seeing it in person and certainly do not believe Sales or the Finance department. It's all about the money and not providing good, honest, customer service. I would not recommend anyone to this dealership More
