Gainesville GMC - Service Center

In 2021 we used this place to repair our car when we hit a deer. Took 3 months to get it back as they wanted to say our part was sitting in the ocean on a barge due to the government (which I know there was a deer. But there were also some screw ups that didn't get fixed and when we brought it to them after this last accident just over a month now, they refuse to fix the repairs they screwed up with the deer damage. And handed us back a car on 2/23/23 that was so green (on a black car) you could hardly see the black and couldn't even check their work job it was so dirty. We have been fighting with them the whole time they had our car about fixing the issues from before that we think all this current problems are coming from that. They claimed they did a total inside and out detail on my car on Tuesday the 21st. There is no way in the world that the way it looks that it was done 2 days before. I live under a ton of trees and my car can sit for more than that and not get that bad. And due to a new paint job the car has to be washed by hand. My husband cannot do it as he's injured and now have to pay a ton of money to keep it washed and even check for the repair work. NEVER again will this sorry place get any work from us and I hope this will help others not to go there. I am going to use this same comment on any page I can about the place. I hate that I can't give it a lower rating than a 1 star to post this. It's not even a 1 star place. They had no care in the world about our issues. More

I just picked up my Honda Odyssey from the Collision Center after it had to be repaired due to an accident. I have used the Collision Center several times over the past ten years and Mike Swinehart has Center after it had to be repaired due to an accident. I have used the Collision Center several times over the past ten years and Mike Swinehart has always treated our vehicles as if they were his own. He always been highly professional and courteous in communicating with us especially during the current struggle to get parts in a timely manner. First, go look at the 1 star reviews , there are plenty service related. I'm not going to waste your time telling the long version. I contacted them after the fact and they where unapologetic and blamed my wife. Good luck if you choose to use them. I texted and emailed about this incident. They responded via text with no apology and basically blamed my wife. Then AFTER I wrote a negative review GMC called and tried to offer me a free oil change to make it right and specifically told me I would have to take down the review. Again, they offered no semblance of an apology and doubled down blaming my wife outright lying about the interaction. The version of what happened was not slightly different from my wife's but grossly different. I would highly recommend you take your vehicle somewhere else even for a simple oil change. More
