My car was towed to Gallatin Honda dealership. Todd was my service advisor. I could not have been more pleased! Believe the dearership reset check engine light. My grandson bought a 2009 infinity z37x from this dealership on Wednesday on 1/21/2020. After driving it only 3 days, the check engine light came on. My grandson bought a 2009 infinity z37x from this dealership on Wednesday on 1/21/2020. After driving it only 3 days, the check engine light came on. Joey Andrews told us at the time of purchase, that his mechanics had checked the car out, and there was nothing that came up. I specifically asked him about the check engine light because Sumner County still has emissions testing. I again asked him, "so no check engine light?" He said no, and went on to say,"they found a slit on one of the tires , so they replaced it. However, I know from experience that the computer can be reset and the check engine light will stay off for a short time. We called Joey Andrews on Monday 1/27/2020 to have them check it out. Mr. Andrews told us to take it to Auto Zone and have them read the codes and take it to a repair shop. I rarely write a bad review on anyone but my grandson went and borrowed the money from the credit union and paid cash for for this car and don't have more to repair the car. This doesn't speak good of this dealership or the salesman in my opinion. Although it was sold "as is", and we might not have any legal recourse, We will be letting our Facebook, Twitter and other social media friends know about this issue. whether it was the dealership or previous owner that reset the computer, I feel we were deceived, and the dealership was the last to sell the car.
