Dear Mr. McCain, I appreciate your concern and bringing this matter to our attention. However, the facts and your recollection do not seem to match. You brought your vehicle to us with a coupon that was not shared by Gallery Ford, yet we agreed to accept it. The coupon clearly states it is $30 off for a typical 30 mile’s service , which includes an oil change, tire rotation, oil filters, wiper blades, cabin filter, and a complete inspection that would typically cost $310.28. With the $30 off, the total comes to $280.38, which is exactly what you paid, fully aware of that amount. Regarding your statement about asking 3 different people, there was only one service advisor behind the desk – Daniel Z. Austin M is a parts counter person and was not near the service desk. The only person who dealt with Daniel was the one who went over the work details and the costs after the $30 discount, which you agreed to. I’m not sure where the confusion lies. We have been transparent and disclosed all facts prior to any work being done, as is always the policy at Gallery Ford. Still, thank you for choosing Gallery Ford for your service needs. Bought a car Aug 22nd, within one week I get a call that there is a recall so we made a appointment for the repair, took the car in to get fixed and when I picked it up they said they didn't fix it because they had to order the parts. After picking it up while driving I noticed a knocking noise coming through the driver side floor board so I called them back and got yet another appointment on the books. After they looked at it they informed me it was going to cost almost 5 thousand dollar to get fixed. I haven't even made the 1st payment yet. They sold me a car that needs work and they are not willing to make it good and of course it's not covered under any warranty. I was told only one person can make the call to make it right and they refuse to do that. I contacted Ford Motors and they even called the dealership to try to get it taken care of without me having to pay out of pocket and they where also told no, not even a discounted price since they sold it to me like this. Ford Motors doesn't even stand behind thier products. I was told my only options is a buy back which isn't even a guarantee and they only give what THEY feel you car is worth not your loan payoff or do a even trade with Gallery Ford. My family has been purchasing vehicles from this dealership for probably more than 30 years. Velde Ford was one of the best dealerships in town and the surrounding area I don't know what happened when Velde sold but it went to crap and the new owner and management do not care about their customers. My family will not be using this dealership anymore and we will be finding a new Ford dealership to shop at from here on out. DO NOT RECOMMED THIS DEALERSHIP!!
