Before scheduling an appointment at Galpin Honda to buy my 2012 Honda Fit, I had negotiated the total cash price and confirmed that the sum included all fees. Upon arrival at the dealer, however, I was tol my 2012 Honda Fit, I had negotiated the total cash price and confirmed that the sum included all fees. Upon arrival at the dealer, however, I was told that there would be an additional $400 fee for the tint on the car. When I asked why this fee had not been included in the total, they claimed to have simply overlooked it. I don’t fault Galpin Honda for trying to get as much money out of the sale as possible – that’s their job. I do, however, fault them for going about it dishonestly. If you want to give your business to a dealership that acts with integrity, I’d advise you to look elsewhere. If, however, you’ve given up hope of ever finding such a thing, Galpin Honda may very well meet your expectations. *An update: Since writing the above review, I checked the specifications on the Honda website and found out that tinted windows are standard equipment, so it seems that Galpin was not warranted in charging an additional fee at all! He was patient with us and informative, answering all our questions and provided us with important information beyond our questions. No pressure. Then he followed up with a phone call. We are also considering an Acura TSX, but if we decide on another Accord, we will certainly contact Alexander. It may be that Galpin is better at selecting and training its sales personnel than many other dealerships. But if you are interested in a Honda, it wouldn't be a bad idea to make an appointment with Alexander. More

My family and I have been looking for cars at many dealerships, however the employees at those other dealerships seemed as if they just wanted to sell a car, they were not that interested if we were s dealerships, however the employees at those other dealerships seemed as if they just wanted to sell a car, they were not that interested if we were satisfied with the car or not. They put pressure on us to buy something, which just made us want to just leave. My family lives in Ventura County and we decided to go to Mission Hills because of how great the service was the first time we visited. The employees offered coffee, hot chocolate, waters, and drinks like that, which was very welcoming. They were all so friendly, and our conversations were as if we have known them for a while. Our sales consultant, Gilbert Jordan, made sure we were completely satisfied with which car we would chose, he showed us the whole interior and how every little thing functioned. He explained how the engine worked, the differences between cars, and so on. It was also very convenient that he spoke Spanish which made us feel even better about our buy. All the workers there have a positive attitude and they do a great job at what they do. They make the costumer feel welcomed and are well taken care of. As we were checking out prices, they tried to make a price work best for our budget, which was the number one thing that we were more concerned about. However, the manager and Gilbert mentioned great deals and explained all the other special deals that we could get, if we wanted to. In the end, we ended up getting a 2012 Celestial Blue Metallic Honda Accord. I am currently attending the university and need a car to commute to and from the school. The Accord, like Gilbert mentions, is high ranked in safety, which was one of the important reasons that lead us choose that car. We were looking for a nice safe car for me to drive around and protect me if anything happens. The color is simple beautiful and the black interior is great. I love everything about it, and so happy that we picked Galpin Honda. We will most likely buy another car when my brother goes off to college in a few years from Galpin Honda.
