The day before I was to bring my 2009 CR-V in for routine service I received a call Rylea from Garber to see if I would like to have my car appraised. Said, "No thanks, would probably give my CR-V to my sister as her car was just deemed beyond any type of repair." I mentioned that I was thinking about leasing and had a few different brands to checkout. Rylea asked if I would like to meet with a leasing consultant while my CR-V was being serviced ... why not. Met up with Gene Ake the next day and from the beginning and all the way through this whole process there was never a feeling of being pressured. Gene ask what type of vehicle I might be interested in and what pricing range was workable. He showed me what they had on the lot and asked if I would like to test drive one. Took a 2017 CR-V out for test drive and while driving Gene ask what other brands I going to check out. Gene happen to know a dealership in the area we were driving and suggest that if I wanted we could stop and look at their 2017 vehicle ... why not. We did stop do a visual comparison. I am sure if I had wanted to test drive the competitor's vehicle he would have tried to arrange it.
Well, the 2017 CR-V was a winner, Garber was able to meet my budgeted number and the purchase was made. Then Gene proceed to help be transfer my 2009 CR-V over to my sister. He talked with my sister, gave her the info to give her insurance co. and number to fax him her new insurance identification cards. He gave me the fax, told me what we needed to take and do at DMV. Mean while my new CR-V was made ready, plates transferred, 2009 CR-V move to save space on lot. I was off to get my old title and take my sister to DMV to transfer her plates to 2009 CR-V ... all went with out a hitch.
We arrived back at Garber where Gene took the plates and put them on the 2009 CR-V. He also check with Warren in the service department to see if they could do the NYS inspection while the vehicle was there - Warren said sure and inspection was done. All of this started at 9:00am and everything completed by 4:30pm.
The Garber employees did an excellent job getting me into a vehicle which was in by budget range and which I am very pleased with. But they really went beyond in what they did to help me get my sister back on the road with a good vehicle. You all were great and everything you did is much appreciated!!
