Anyone out there looking to buy a new Jeep,Chrysler or Dodge product, I would strongly recommend this dealership. I was searching the internet for days trying to find a vehicle I wanted. When I reached ou Dodge product, I would strongly recommend this dealership. I was searching the internet for days trying to find a vehicle I wanted. When I reached out to Garden City Jeep and they explained they could order me what I wanted or I could pick something out from their inventory, I looked at what they had in stock and was pleasantly surprised at the assortment of vehicles and packages. I was very interested in one of the vehicles that fit my criteria. The dealership team had me in my car the next day. That's the kind of service I want from any business I deal with. More

His knowledge , friendliness, willingness and ability to work with his customers is outstanding. I ordered my car and Steve kept me informed of the status of my car the entire time. The car was spotless when I picked it up, not even a scuff mark on the door sill for a shoe. He explained everything to me, took his time and answered all my questions. So far one of my friends has purchased a Jeep from Steve and they thought he was the best salesperson they have ever dealt with. I highly recommend calling Steve.....I will add that the showroom and service area are spotless and even person that I came in contact with was very pleasant. More
This dealership sold me a problematic vehicle. I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee in Oct 2021. . Since 2022, I have taken the vehicle in for major service six times. From engine repair, radiator I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee in Oct 2021. . Since 2022, I have taken the vehicle in for major service six times. From engine repair, radiator leaks, tire sensors, dashboard blackouts and more. No exaggeration. The odometer reads 33,000 miles so this is a fairly new vehicle. The customer service has been extremely poor. The service manager Kevin Chan and others knew the service was improperly handled and that the vehicle that they sold me had major issues. A simple oil change on May 7th was a disaster. The dealership failed to ensure the oil change was done properly and damaged the module and other areas affecting the vehicle. No leaks were detected. My car and some others were vandalized on their property and they called me and told me that I would be responsible for the repairs to my car! They did not produce a police report of this incident which occurred the week of July 11th. As of this date, they have had my vehicle since June and were supposed to address the repairs or put me in a comparable vehicle. Instead of finding me a replacement, the salesman submitted my credit to other sources over 20 times, decreasing my credit score and all they did was give me a loaner car. I was threatened on Sep 14th that if I did not bring back the loaner, they would call the police. Meanwhile, my car still hasn't been repaired. I am recuperating from surgery and am now dealing with an attorney to sue them and be made whole. This place is a scam and a ripoff and I am not going to sit down and take it. I paid over $30,000 for this Jeep and I haven't been able to drive it now for 5 months. More

This dealership, Garden City Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram, leased and sold me a "new" car, and did not disclose that there's an accident history 2. Sold me an extra "cosmetic" warranty (-$1,000) that couldn't be used when I needed them a year later for a single dent and a scratch 3. After the lease, I decided to buyout the car. Stupid me, they tricked me into paying duplicate warranties (-$2,700) on top of the existing ones... I was able to fix the warranty issue but not through this dealership because they didn't want to help me, took me 6 months to fix this mess through MOPAR. 4. Four years later, the car was starting to break down, got curious and ran a CARFAX.. then found out there's an accident history 4 months before my lease started... 5. Sold the car out of frustration I'm not even checking anymore if there are more stuffs they hid from me but knowing the fact that they took advantage of me being young and not knowing anything about car buying process makes me resentful. I don't even know why you have "good" reviews. Or maybe I am an isolated case... and I am angry that you're going to get away with this... More
BUYER BEWARE Over the last 35 years, I have purchased numerous new cars and trucks and have dealt with many dealers. New to the area, I decided to visit Garden City to purchase a new Jeep this weekend. numerous new cars and trucks and have dealt with many dealers. New to the area, I decided to visit Garden City to purchase a new Jeep this weekend. Unfortunately, my visit was nothing more than a tremendous waste of time. I have never dealt with a more dishonest and unprofessional dealership than Garden City Jeep. After the salesman printed out the window sticker for the Jeep I wanted to purchase, we negotiated for 45 minutes, including the two obligatory visits all car salesman make the back to “check the numbers,” to arrive at the price for the new Jeep. The salesman calculated the taxes, fees, etc. to arrive at the final “out-the door price.” Note, that the agreed on price also included the mandatory $389 “protection plan” (i.e., dealer profit) that this dealership supposedly includes on all cars sold. After some additional questions, the young salesman excused himself and returned with John who represented himself as the Sales Manger. Although the salesman had prepared a documents with the agreed to “out-the door” price, John now informed me that the Jeep could not be sold for that price. When I showed John the paper the salesman had prepared with the agreed upon price, he took it from me and said there was an error and that the Jeep would cost an additional $1,500. When I asked to see the paper with the salesman’s calculations, John refused and said it was the property of Garden City Jeep. Needless to say, that concluded my visit to this dealership. At bottom, do not waste your energy with the shady characters at Garden City Jeep. There are plenty of reputable, honest and respectful dealers on Long Island who deserve your business and will honor a deal. Regrettably, Garden City Jeep is not one of those dealerships. Save your time and money and avoid Garden City Jeep. They are nothing more than bait and switch scammers. Finally, consistent with how Garden City Jeep treats prospective customers, the restroom in the dealership looks and smells as it had not been cleaned in 3 weeks. More
