I bought a used car from them, and once they had my check they forgot about me. I had several negoitated items to be repaired, and they avoided to do anything even when the car failed inspection. Salesteam let me decide on the best price they could offer. They did fight for me and I said yes as the car was in stock and not a leftover. The only problem I had with my Garden State Honda experience was that when my license plates came in, I couldn't pick them up at the dealership where I bought my car (on Route 3 in Clifton), but inst experience was that when my license plates came in, I couldn't pick them up at the dealership where I bought my car (on Route 3 in Clifton), but instead had to drive to a different dealership which was very inconvenient for me, as it was difficult to find and get to. I feel that they should have delivered the plates to the original location and allowed me to pick them up there. More
I moved to New Jersey in January and needed to find a dealer to service my Honda Fit, and Garden State Honda is near my house. Shortly after I moved down to New Jersey I had several recalls that needed dealer to service my Honda Fit, and Garden State Honda is near my house. Shortly after I moved down to New Jersey I had several recalls that needed to be taken care of,that could not be taken care of at that dealer ship, and the service provider assisted me in taking care of them quickly at another dealership. When my Fit died on Long Island, Garden State assisted me in purchasing a new Civic and gave me a great discount because I was an established customer at their Service Department. The sales man and service provider were exceptional and I will return for future purchases. I will only go to Shadi for my services because he is very friendly and quick. More

Last week I visited this dealer to purchase a new 2008 Honda Ridgeline. Anthony in sales was a nice guy who took the time to educate me about the suv and perform a test drive. I came back two days later t Honda Ridgeline. Anthony in sales was a nice guy who took the time to educate me about the suv and perform a test drive. I came back two days later to do the deal, but was unable to agree upon a sales price do to the manager's (Michael) gift of double talk and back peddling. For some reason, the manager kept insisting on quoting me a vehicle price outside the parameters of Honda's special 2.9% finance promotion for up to 60-months (the promotion ends today). I have a 750+ credit score and requested a reasonable price that took advantage of the $3,000 cash back and 2.9% rate. They just don't get it! Therefore, I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying a vehicle from this dealer if you value your time and appreciate speaking with a sales staff that truly wants to sell you a vehicle at a reasonable price rather than rake you over the coals. I immediately drove to a nearby competitor that addressed my concerns and penned a great deal on the spot! More
I went to this dealership by chance since it's located by the highway. I was buying a car for my mom, but didn't want her to be pressured into any sales. After viewing a couple cars which were above our the highway. I was buying a car for my mom, but didn't want her to be pressured into any sales. After viewing a couple cars which were above our price range, and also not in good condition, we told them we were not interested. So the salesman gets his manager who then grills me on what exactly we're looking for, and then proceeds to show me more cars that are better prices, but worse condition. I felt like I had to explain why I didn't want to spend the money on a car that didn't make my mom happy. Rediculous. Then we had to listen to a long speech on how it's difficult to find a used car and we should just buy new. Also they mentioned that you shouldn't look around for cars and just buy something within the first three dealers you see. Would you buy a house like that? More
