First, I'd like to say that, since this review was posted, you did come back down to the dealership and trade your brand new all-wheel drive Tucson for a more expensive model. This is probably the car that you should have purchased the first time but your indecision and unwillingness to accept advice led you to pick cars that you did not like. Not only that, but throughout the entire process, the employees at Garvey Hyundai were treated with disrespect, called names, and blamed for every little issue that you have had. At what point should somebody be expected to take responsibility for her own actions and decisions? To address the concerns you had when you called Nicole, we told you that we could not put fog lights in your second purchase because there are no aftermarket or factory kits that will fit into the bumper of that car. A wiring harness that did not have fog lights from the factory will not accept a retrofit of factory fog lights and aftermarket ones are a bad idea. When you called about asking to trade in your most recent mistake, Nicole told you that I was out sick and that I would call you when I got back. Clearly that wasn't good enough because you then jumped online and started this rant saying that we haven't taken care of your needs. I personally think that you don't listen when people are trying to tell you things and when they go wrong, you blame everybody but yourself. That said, I believe the confusion over the initial purchase was not at all the fault of our salesperson. When you first came to trade with us, you looked at a brand new all-wheel drive Tucson. At that point, you did not like that the all-wheel drive model did not have all the features, bells and whistles that you wanted at a price that was higher than you wanted to pay. Nicole then showed you a front wheel drive pre-owned Tucson that we had with more equipment. That was ultimately the one you chose and signed the contract for. Regardless of how you ended up with a front wheel drive, when you called us and told us that you weren't happy with that vehicle, we immediately scheduled an appointment and had you come right down. I personally sat with you and put together numbers that gave you a trade allowance very close to what you paid for the used vehicle. I also insisted that you test drive the brand new all-wheel drive and make sure that was the one you wanted. We were able to get your payments within $50+ dollars of what you had been paying for a used front wheel drive. We bent over backwards to get you into that car and now, here I am responding to a negative review from somebody blaming me for her own mistakes after I already tried to correct her first mistake and gave her ample opportunity to evaluate the proposal that she was given! In fact, you left the dealership after those numbers were given to have lunch. If that car wasn’t right for you, then you had plenty of time to decide for yourself that it wasn’t right. To date, your salesperson, Nicole, has tried to contact you a couple times in hopes that you might reconsider this posting. However, you’ve not called us back and so we are forced to respond. We have tried to stick with the philosophy that the customer is always right and attempted to cater to your every whim, but this has gone way too far.
