This was my first car and I fell in love with it the moment I got there. I was a bit nervous however because a car is a big deal but I have to say Garvey was so helpful it made everything so much easier moment I got there. This dealership Garvey Kia is the best place to buy a car new or used.. The salesperson we had Claude Middleton was the greatest person to buy a car from. Claude was wonderful to deal with. We didn't expect to find the car we wanted in such a short time. He was very pleasant, not at all pushy and told us he would hold the car for us when we told him we wer find the car we wanted in such a short time. He also saved us a trip by working a deal over the phone for our trade-in. Claude is someone you immediately feel comfortable with and this was important to us. The purchase of the vehicle went very smooth. Claude took the time to bring us over to the service and parts department and we met Jason Wade who we were also impressed with. He is a young man with knowledge beyond his years and has excellent interpersonal skills. Claude has followed up with us to check on how things are going and is always professional, courteous and willing to help. We highly recommend this dealership and Claude Middleton who is a class act. We will return to Kia Garvey for all of our service work and future purchases. More
The slightly lower score wasn't Claude's fault but the use of a new computer system for inputting info. There was also another snafu as our 2nd key to our new car was lost and now we have to drive (162 m use of a new computer system for inputting info. There was also another snafu as our 2nd key to our new car was lost and now we have to drive (162 miles roundtrip) back up to the dealership. But these things happen and all in all, it was a good deal with a good sales rep at a Volvo dealer. Yeah, we'll go back & see them next year when I need a new car. More

In Arizona we bring the car in and the car is taken care of. We take our car to any Kia dealership and get the same great service, until we took our car into Garvey. We had to pay for the diagnostic test, which was understandable. They found the antifreeze leak at the upper section of the lower radiator hose. They double hose clamped it and topped off the coolant. I checked the coolant level and it was the same as when I brought it in below low. The gas tank valve is bad, since we have an extended warranty, which can be used anywhere at any dealership, Andy at Garvey requested I contact my extended warranty and get authorization from the company n Arizona. So I took his advice and called. The company answered and explained that they cannot send me the monies to repair personally. The dealership needs to call and get authorization for verification of the repair. Prior I had given Andy all the information to do so. I called Andy back the same day I brought the car in for service, which was Wednesday and He said He would call the company and get verification. I left a message o his voicemail following Monday. I called him on Tuesday and He still suggested I call the extended warranty company to get authorization. The extended warranty company said they would gladly pay the dealership for the repairs, so why is Garvey dragging their feet? No return calls or solving the repair issues is bad customer service the dealership will be rated for. More
After going to 2 other dealerships and feeling very frustrated, Dave made it a wonderful experience. Getting me $500 more for my trade within 10 minutes of being there, where the "humungo" dealer took frustrated, Dave made it a wonderful experience. I have bought many cars in my time, and this is the BEST experience I have had, hands down! More
I bought a Kia Soul, base model, and I was not told during the sale discussion that the car did not have a spare donut nor a jack. I found out on my own two weeks later that what it had was a 'Mobilit during the sale discussion that the car did not have a spare donut nor a jack. I found out on my own two weeks later that what it had was a 'Mobility Kit' to inflate only certain flats (and this supposedly happened without a jack), and some flats would not be able to be inflated, so basically, I would find myself stranded. If I had known it did not have a spare, I would have included that into the sale discussion. KUDOS TO GARVEY KIA.........THEY HAVE CORRECTED THE ABOVE SITUATION.........A few weeks ago, at a local tire store, I had purchased a wheel and tire as a spare for my new Soul, so that I had one in the car, with an old jack I had. Yesterday, Garvey Kia, reimbursed my for the total cost of the wheel and tire spare, and they gave me a new jack for the Soul. They couldn't have been nicer to me, and I certainly would recommend them to anyone! More
I had been emailing Andrew for many months about a Kia Soul I was interested in. He kindly offered me information as I requested it and did not pressure me to buy. When I did go in he stayed after closing Soul I was interested in. He kindly offered me information as I requested it and did not pressure me to buy. When I did go in he stayed after closing to work with me. He let me test drive and see a few different models and got me pricing and information on them all. When I decided on the one I wanted he gave me a price, which I told him was more than I wanted to pay. He response was very friendly, he said "Make me an offer and I'll see what I can do." I told him what I was willing to pay, he spoke with his sales manager and came back to me giving me the price I wanted. I also got an incredible trade in value for my 12 year old vehicle! Working with Andrew was great, he didn't have that typical car salesman attitude. Very friendly, very little pressure. We worked with Nick to take care of the financing. Nick was very friendly, though slightly eccentric. He did pressure me a little to get some extra warranties like the rust/paint/interior package. I told him I didn't need it, he offered me to do just the paint portion for me to reduce the price. I said no again because I thought it was still too overpriced. After saying no again, he pulled out some coupons and offered a price that was $250 less than what he originally quoted me. At that price, I agreed. Lesson here: don't agree right away because everything is marked up a LOT and they are selling to try to make their commission. Don't let them scare you into things by saying "what ifs". Know what you really need and always make them reduce the price before you agree. Overall a fantastic experience with them and I would highly recommend Andrew to those interested in a new car! More
This was the smoothest car deal we have ever had.
