We told him we would stop by this evening, but decided to go right away. Went to dealership and Bill was out to lunch, they called him and he came back with 5 minutes. Within 4 hours Bill put my 21 year old daughter in a very safe , beautifull 2011 Hyundai. Bill spent alot of time showing her all the bells and wistles this car had to offer. The people that work there are great. After owning about 6 cars in my life time, Gary Rome Hyundai will be the only place I would ever buy a car from. I have a new appreciation for buying a car. It was a pleasure to be met at the door when I came to drop my car off for it's first oil change since buying the car back in April. The staff was just as friendly today as they were when I first came to drop my car off for it's first oil change since buying the car back in April. The staff was just as friendly today as they were when I first came to Gary Rome to buy my car. My sales person Jason Cisek came right over and asked me how I was liking the car and if I was still happy with my decision to go back into a sedan after being in a SUV for years. I first met John Linnehan in the summer of 2011 when my husband and I were poking around looking to see the color of a specific Hyundai model. I had been looking more locally but drove down to Holyoke to husband and I were poking around looking to see the color of a specific Hyundai model. I had been looking more locally but drove down to Holyoke to see what they had on their lot. It had to be near closing time but John took us out back to the lot and showed us the color of the car I had been interested in. Then he let me go back and forth between various cars, sitting in them, checking out different colors & styles and options. He really spent a lot of time with us, so much time that no one realized we were out back and they started to lock the gates (with us inside). It was pretty comical, but John was laid back and we continued our conversation well after closing time. He was super patient throughout all of this. Then he told me about the Veloster that was coming out and showed me a picture of it. I knew that was the car for me but it wasn't supposed to be in for several months. I had a deadline to trade in my old vehicle for something new so I kept my eyes open at various Hyundai dealers for the Veloster. One came in, but not at Gary Rome. So I bought my Veloster from "the other dealer" and I love my car, but the experience with the other dealer’s GM was so unpleasant that I could not go back there for warranty work or general service. I remembered how well John Linnehan treated me months earlier and went to talk to him. I told him about my experience and he suggested I bring my car to Gary Rome’s service department if I didn’t mind the drive. He also sat down with me a few times and explained all the things about my new car that I wasn’t made aware of when I bought it. He even helped me set up my Blue Link on his computer, to make sure all functions were working properly. Keep in mind, he didn’t get a dime out of me. I now take the hour drive to Holyoke for all my service and I know that if I have a question that is not service related, John will answer it. What I found to be pretty impressive, was that he knew I was treated wrong with my purchase at “the other dealer” yet he didn’t badmouth them, he just made sure I got good service at Gary Rome. Every time I come in, John always stops to say hello as do many other Gary Rome employees. Just a few more comments that I think are important to note. At Gary Rome, you will notice how professional the staff appears and how clean the showroom is. You don’t see that at every dealership. As for prices go, I didn’t buy my car from John, but his kindness and willingness to help is priceless and that means a lot to me. More

Michael Pijar, the salesperson with whom I worked, was knowledgable, available, pleasant and really listened to me. I have been in sales and was very clear with Mr. Pijar that I did not want this to be a typical back and forth, play the game sales transaction. After speaking with him for quite some time I said that he had one chance---come back to me with the best deal he could offer and if it matched what was in my head (which I did not tell him), I would by the car on the spot. None of this, "I have to speak to my manager" game. Mr. Pijar came back to me with exactly what I had in my head. He did not play games i.e., he respected this customer which meant everything to me. Everytime I bring my car in for maintenance and service he makes it a point to say hello and see how everything is going. John Linnehan was the best salesperson I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He was not overly aggresive, was extremely knowledgeable and I didn't feel like he was running a con game on my husban the pleasure of working with. We left the dealership very pleased and happy with our purchase instead of second guessing ourselves. I would most definately recommend Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke as the place to go for a new car! This dealership also gets very high marks for their parts department. Before the purchase of the new car, we tried to repair the old Hyundai and the only place to find the parts needed was at this Holyoke dealership. My husband was very impressed! Note, we live down the road from another Hyundai dealership and they didn't have any of the parts we needed!! Again, this is an awesome dealership! More
