Worth the 180 Mile Round Trip We live in Jacksonville, FL. We had been shopping online to try to find a new car for my 18 year old daughter when I came across a super clean, low m We live in Jacksonville, FL. We had been shopping online to try to find a new car for my 18 year old daughter when I came across a super clean, low mileage Honda Civic. The only catch was that, while it was the perfect car, it was 90 miles away at Hendrick Honda in Daytona Beach. Reluctantly, I submitted an inquiry about the car figuring I'd get the typical high pressure push that is common from car dealerships as they battle for your business. Instead, I got a thoughtful response from Mike Hutchinson to see if he could be of assistance. When I made it clear we were interested in the car, he took the time to personally go and find the car, which had only come in in trade the day before. It hadn't even been detailed yet, but it was clean enough to photograph and put it in the website just the same. He promised he'd track it down and provide additional pictures and any other information I was asking for. A short while later, I received a text with an honest review of the car, and several pictures backing up the fact that it was indeed a clean car with extremely low mileage for the year. The price in comparison to what we were seeing for similar cars here in Jacksonville was terrific. So, on Sunday, I indicated we'd like to come down to see the car, but that we couldn't see it until Tuesday at the earliest. We worked out an arrangement to put a deposit on the car to hold it, and when Tuesday came, we hopped in our trade and headed south. 90 minutes later, we pulled up to the dealership, and the car was detailed, gassed up, and waiting for us just outside of the showroom so that we could test drive it. After doing the test drive, we sat down to discuss trade and the rest of the deal. "Irish" Mike made things as easy as possible for us understanding that we would be driving this car back to Jacksonville, and that it was going to be the primary mode of transportation for our daughter. At no time did he pressure us, or anything. He simply listened to what we wanted to do, and he made it work. Before we knew it, we had a deal. We went to the finance manager's office and worked out the specifics, again with NO pressure to buy any of the add ons. We got the financing we wanted, and a warranty that was affordable to have some peace of mind. While we were in there working out the deal, Mike had pulled the tag off our trade, washed it, and had it mounted on the car ready to go. He had our insurance company on the phone when we were walking out so that we could make sure everything transferred over, and we were on our way. I highly recommend the dealership. They did a terrific job of making us feel like we were buying the most expensive car on the lot even though we were buying a simple little Civic. I would definitely take the time to drive back down to buy another vehicle when the time comes, and I absolutely loathe car shopping. Thanks Mike! More

Very pleased with his attention to detail and recommendations. While waiting, I browsed the showroom and met Jeff Anderson, sales person. He was pleasant and non-pressure, explaining the new CRV and its smaller version to me. At this time I am not looking to replace the 08 Accord I purchased at this dealership but I would not hesitate to return hthere as the service department has always been topnotch. More

He just kept trying to sell me cars that I did not want he first started with a Chrysler which initiated two other sales persons on the floor to make a bet that we would be purchasing that car after Daniel was done with us which was unprofessional. Then he just kept lying and running game on us and pressuring us to purchase another vehicle we didn't want. So if any one is looking to purchase a Honda stay away from Hendricks or just stay away from Daniel. More
