Excellent service, Best car buying experience ever We were looking for a car as our daughter had recently been in an accident and her car was totaled. We walked into Gastonia Chrysler after reviewed v We were looking for a car as our daughter had recently been in an accident and her car was totaled. We walked into Gastonia Chrysler after reviewed vehicles on their web site and after leaving another dealer. Gerald Morrison met us at the door and immediately with his hand shake, introduction and his easy smile we felt very comfortable. We wanted to look at a specific model and he began showing us what he had available on the lot at his computer. Not once during this conversation did he try to sale us anything, he listened intently to our needs and worked to meet those needs. He was even willing to hold the car for us until Monday (no money required). We decided to go ahead and purchase the car. He wrote us a very fair deal, we did at anytime feel we needed to haggle. We were then greeted by James McElroy to sign the papers and close the deal. Again this was the most painless car buying experience ever. In a short time all the papers were signed and we were out the door. While I did not time the entire experience we were in the dealership less than 90 minutes and a large portion of that time was spent outside at the car. Bottom line we will be back, My wife is looking for a new car this summer and this will be our first stop. Great experience for Out of State customer I had been looking for a specific Ram truck since November 2018. After waiting and waiting, January 2019 came around and I finally located a Ram deale I had been looking for a specific Ram truck since November 2018. After waiting and waiting, January 2019 came around and I finally located a Ram dealer that had the exact one I wanted in their inventory. This dealer just so happened to be 2 hours away from me so I was skeptical about even trying to buy out of state and 2 hours away. I went for it anyway and was lucky enough to be contacted back by a salesman named Deshawn Hardnick. He and his sales manager Jason gave me the absolute best price I had received on this truck I wanted without any haggling. It was so easy, I told them what I wanted and expected to pay (within reason) and they were able to get the price of my truck right in the ballpark of what I expected. Other dealers I had approached, I would go back and fourth 2-4 times before they even come back with remotely a deal you are looking for. Jason and Deshawn made this deal so easy for me and keep in mind this was on the phone. I haven’t even met them in person yet. After price was set I filled out my credit app online and within a short period of time I was approved and ready to set my pick up date for the vehicle and to sign the final paperwork. I went the next day ofcoarse! Deshawn was a great guy on the phone but even more down to earth when you meet him. So easy to talk to and he is very welcoming. I didn’t get the salesman vibe from him at all let alone the entire time I was at the dealership. My final experience was in the finance office to sign final documents to complete my sale. I met James McElroy, the finance manager, to close the deal. He had all the paperwork laid out ready to sign. At this point you usually get a strong pressure to sign up for all these upgraded service plans for the vehicle. James asked me several questions regarding myself and the purpose of the vehicle and recommended the approapriate plans with no pressure to even agree on any. I did get GAP and the 100,000 mile warranty because of the value of these new Ram trucks and these things have soooo much tech in them now. It didn’t make my payments go up much at all and was totally worth the add. After my experience with James I was treated like VIP from everyone, which was kinda cool! My truck was pulled up out front all cleaned up nice and shiny, Deshawn put on my plate and overviewed all the features once again on the truck. Trust me this overview comes in handy because like I said before these new Ram trucks have so much tech and they are loaded with features. We ended my visit with a firm handshake from everyone and I left feeling great. This was the best vehicle sales experience I had ever received and it all started with an online inquiry from a guy two hours away, out of state! Thank you Gastonia CDJR! More

We looked at the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. He listened to our needs and allowed us to make our decision on our terms. Even let us load a few suitcases to test storage. This sold us on the car and dealer. (Cherokee was our selection) Told him we were a serious buyer. He took us serious. Reached out to him on his day off (Sunday) and he came in to see if we could work a deal. Whole process was painless and to the point. He did not waste our time nor did we waist his. Closing was fast and to the point. James got us out the door as did the manager Jason. I will be back for service on our new purchase as duty calls in the future and for our next vehicle.
