My wife and I met with Ralph Clement on a Sunday in April of 2012 while doing test drives of various vehicles and manufacturers including GM and Nissan vehicles. Our experience with Ralph on that day was very impressive. He, most of all made us feel very relaxed, he allowed us to test drive five different vehicles with out any pressure to purchase that day. That experience that day helped us to deside to return and purchase our new 2013 GMC Terrain. My main salesmen was Paul Bacon and my financial expert was Nick Truax. Very friendly dealership as you can see over 6 of Gates people had some kind of contact with me. He is very knowledgeable with Nissan and the history of this used truck I purchased. . Nobody likes to spend a lot of money or feel that maybe you can get a better price somewhere else but at Gates I felt like I made the best deal I could and the team was very professional and made me feel like it was a partnership working together with a valued customer. That is why this is my 4th vehicle purchased from them in just a few years. Always the first place I choose when ready to buy a vehicle. And when it’s time to do the paperwork Nick Truax is awesome. From the time I made my on-line inquiry for information on the GMC Terrain I was interested in possibly purchasing, till the time I was given a complete 'in-service' of my new 2012 Terrain and ultimately d on the GMC Terrain I was interested in possibly purchasing, till the time I was given a complete 'in-service' of my new 2012 Terrain and ultimately diving it home was a most pleasant experience. My sales representative Nate Rameaka was friendly and informative. Before taking a test drive Nate explained everything there was to know about the Terrain. Because of Nates thorough explanations I only had a couple of questions about this vehicle. My husband and I came to your dealership because we were shopping around for used cars. I talked to ralph and he got us down there. Bought the precertified used 2010 Nissan Sentra in July 2010 - December 31 the muffler had coroded off with less than 35,000 miles. After sitting in the dealership for approximately an hour the service man 2010 - December 31 the muffler had coroded off with less than 35,000 miles. After sitting in the dealership for approximately an hour the service manager and a sales rep informed that they would not cover the repair and I would be responsible for a $400+ muffler replacement. Subsequently went to a muffler shop and learned this is a design defect in the Nissan products as they try to weld carbon steel flanges on to stainless steel mufflers and this national muffler repair shop said Nissan repairs for this same defect are a big part of their business. This Dealership: 1 - Said they did a thouough inspection which is not possible given my muffler fell off due to corrosion. This would have been clearly evident in july when I bought the car 2 - Lied to my face when they blamed the corrosion on New England road salt. They clearly knew about the faulty design and had probably proffited off the repairs of 4, 5 year old out of warranty vehicles. Having it happen in less than 3 years and 36,000 miles must have been a surprise as it was to me with less than 3,500 miles. 3 - I can only describe the salesman as a gangster as he followed me out of the sales room in the attempt to confront me and start a fight - I'm sure he picks many with 65 year old dissatisfied customers 4 - I just wished you had a grade less than 1 for this low rent firm More
