I've been looking for a Yukon XL or Suburban for a couple of months now and seen the one at Gates several times but I wasn't looking to spend that much, but after visiting several dealers through out CT and of months now and seen the one at Gates several times but I wasn't looking to spend that much, but after visiting several dealers through out CT and MA and being disappointed with the sales persons and managers along with price vs trade in. Once I walk into Gates GMC and greeted with a friendly staff I was off to good start, then when saw and test drove the Yukon XL, it was the color and interior I was wanted but the price was a little more than I wanted to spend BUT it was to nice to pass up and I felt in good hands with Gates GMC. Gates GMC Nissan by far has been the most pleasant buying experience I have had in my lifetime. We have bought more than 15 cars over the years. No pressure and no slick or underhanded moves. The owner himself was involved and he made things happen. A pleasure to deal with. The facility is spotless.(as is Columbia Ford too) Speaking of which, their car wash next door is worth the trip. No other car wash makes my car look so good as this one. You can eat off the floor in their garage. Not one tool left out at the end of the day. Everything freshly painted. Neat and orderly. Paperwork, files, everything neat and in its proper place. And I notice everything. I have yet to meet anyone who wasn't friendly and courteous. It's refreshing to see old fashioned work & business ethics.
