It was a good experience. I was very pleased with this Dealership. I found a Nissan Rouge on line @ Gates Toyota in South Bend & I live in Elkhart so I called Gates of Elkhart I was very pleased with this Dealership. I found a Nissan Rouge on line @ Gates Toyota in South Bend & I live in Elkhart so I called Gates of Elkhart & they were able to transfer the SUV here, which made it more convenient for me. I was greeted by a nice young man named Kolin Lamb and he answered all my questions & if he wasn't sure he would find out for me. We went for a test drive & also took it to my mechanic, which made it easier for me to make a decision to buy the SUV. I was introduced to Jeff Howe, which took care of the financing. He was able to get a better rate than my Credit Union so I decided to finance thru them. It took a little time because of my credit being frozen, but we finally got the right one & it was a done deal. Everyone was very nice & friendly. I'm glad I found this SUV & able to work with a couple of good guys. More

Exceptional Sales and Service Experiences We purchased a used 2019 Chevy Colorado truck. Tom Pogotis was the salesman. He was friendly and knowledgable. There was an issue with the upholstr We purchased a used 2019 Chevy Colorado truck. Tom Pogotis was the salesman. He was friendly and knowledgable. There was an issue with the upholstry on the drivers seat. Tom immediatly made reservations with the vendor that takes care of such issues and oversaw it to my satisfaction. Then there was an issue that needed servicing. Kevin Scheibelhut in the Service Dept was extremely friendly and super knowledgable. He identifyed the problem and the Service Dept in Mishawaka handled it bautifully at absolutly no cost to me. Now we find ourselves in a financial situation that requires to have Gates purchase back the truck. Tom Pogotis has handled this embaresing situation without compromising our dignity! He has gone above and beyond the call of duty to locate another vehicle in our price range and has handled all the paperwork needed to make this transaction, I can not say enough good things about the staff at Gates of Elkhart especially Tom Pogotis. More

Typical car dealership Salesman Jason Hooks was helpful and eager to work with us. When starting to negotiate a price for the car I found Jef Gates to be arrogant and harder Salesman Jason Hooks was helpful and eager to work with us. When starting to negotiate a price for the car I found Jef Gates to be arrogant and harder to deal with. After finally coming to a decision on the price and buying the car, Jef who was so eager to be pleasant and accommodating the day before walks past me ignoring me.A simple thank you for buying a car from us would have been great. I will remember this the most from the whole experience. I found the car I wanted here but I was not thrilled about buying from Gates. I will not recommended any Gates car dealership to friends and family. More
