January 24th started out to be a very stressful day. Our past experiences had been troublesome at best, with high pressure sales tactics from annoying salespersons at dealerships. However, we were on a mission and figured we’d have to endure the dreaded experience. After visiting several dealerships both major manufacturers and private, we decided to visit Gatorland Toyota Gainesville Florida. From the beginning of browsing on our own around the lot something felt different, friendlier! We were greeted by a representative of the dealership who directed us to our salesman Ryan, at the outset of the experience I could tell there was something special about Ryan and this experience. Our salesman, Ryan, exuded genuineness which immediately took away our defensiveness due to stressful past car buying experiences. His knowledge of products and professional yet down to earth demeanor allowed us to focus on the shopping, negotiating and purchase rather than being on guard for fear of being taken advantage of. Navigating the complexities of car buying can be a frustrating and aggravating experience however on this day at Gatorland Toyota with Ryan as our salesman we became fans first of Ryan and as the deal progressed the entire Gatorland Toyota staff. The facility is top notch, the staff is professional, knowledgeable as well as warm and friendly. What we feared to have been a problematic and frustrating day turned out to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I have to mention the wonderful 2019 model SUV we purchased, thanks y’all we love it and will not dread the day we decide it needs replaced, why? Because, we will return to Gatorland Toyota and purchase our next vehicle from our favorite hometown dealership who provided the best car buying experience we’ve ever had. I applaud your entire staff, please extend my families appreciation for making a troublesome day into an enjoyable experience. More
