The car was taken In for two major mechanical issues, CV joint and rack & pinion steering replacement along with normal maintenance and head light bulb replacement. Upon picking up the car and driving it CV joint and rack & pinion steering replacement along with normal maintenance and head light bulb replacement. Upon picking up the car and driving it home the steering pulled to the left and the steering wheel was not centered. I called Shad the service manager and he said bring it back the next day. Upon return arrival I usually deal with Shad but he had a doctors appointment and had to leave and handed me off to a service lane manager Chris Harris. They asked me when I wanted the car back, and I said asap this was at 12 noon. I had heard nothing by 4p so I called Chris and he informed me that they were backed up and was just now getting to it after 4p. I was very displeased and felt I was put at the back of the line and should of been attended to first due to the fact that I had to return it back to the dealership because the technician did not drive the car after the rack & pinion replacement or did not pay attention that the steering pulled to the left and the steering wheel was not centered. Chris called me after 5p and said it was ready and he and the technician both drove the car. I informed him I could not get there by closing time. Chris informed me he would deliver the car. Upon arriving I drove the car with Chris and it seemed ok. I do not understand why the vehicle was not checked out properly by the technician or a service representative after the replacement and repairs was performed. This was a unnecessary inconvenience to myself and was also costly to the dealership. More
