Bought used, should have looked closer. Bought a 2018 Highlander used from Gatorland Toyota. I looked at pictures on line and came to an agreement with the sales person. I was traveling 3.5 Bought a 2018 Highlander used from Gatorland Toyota. I looked at pictures on line and came to an agreement with the sales person. I was traveling 3.5 hours to pick up the vehicle and had to work that evening. I was told that they would have all the paperwork ready and I would be done quickly. When I arrived none of the paperwork was ready. I did a quick look and drive of the car while they were supposed to be getting the paperwork completed. They then took the car to be detailed (supposedly). I finally started on paperwork and had to go to financing. This took almost 2 hours. I had different paperwork at the finance section dealing with what was "owed" and it listed the body shop. I should have gotten a clue then, but I was in a hurry and bought their excuse about why this paperwork was different that what I had previously been told. The car was not supposed to have been wrecked. When I got the vehicle home I noticed a dent in the rear lift door (what the body shop paperwork was about). I also noticed that the driver rear mud flap was making a noise. When I got under the car, the car had been in an accident and several pieces were broken. I would not do business with this company again. I believe they knowingly deceived me about this vehicle. More

While returning from vacationing in Florida, our alert for an overheated hybrid system in our Lexus went on. We had followed directions in the manual for cooling it down but it also said to get to a deale for an overheated hybrid system in our Lexus went on. The service department courteously checked our car with no appt. We are deeply indebted to them for explaining what had happened, advising us and sending us safely on our way. They were kind and courteous even though we not not. We’re not regular customers. More

As usual, my visit to GatorLand Toyota for service went very smoothly and successfully. My 86 had a deficient windshield washer. Liz Johnson was my first, very efficient and courteous, service writer. She and her technician quickly diagnosed the source of my problem and she ordered repair parts. When the parts arrived, my service writer was Jon Dansby, the outstanding service manager. The repairs were made in a reasonable amount of time by another skilled technician, and I was on my way. This is my third FRS/86 purchased from the dealership, along with three tC’s and a Prius. I brought in my old Toyota for service. I was very disappointed with the lack of personal touch and communication to discuss the recommended repairs. Once I told the service assistant I was not going to do all of them he became short and disinterested in the call. When I returned to pick up my car I had to go to three different people to check out. No one greeted me. Little to.no common courtesy. They could not find my car as the they wrote the wrong make on my key tag. Basically a mess. I was very unimpressed. I don’t plan on ever going back to the dealership for service or to purchase a used or new car. More
