I hate that I’m having to write this, but I have no choice. I’ve never had any issues with them before, but this dealership allowed me to drive off their lot with an F350 that had tires not rated for t choice. I’ve never had any issues with them before, but this dealership allowed me to drive off their lot with an F350 that had tires not rated for the vehicle. The back tires were both overinflated by 20LBS, and they knew I was about to haul 20k lbs across country with my family. By the grace of God we made it home safely, but it was only by God’s grace. When I found out about the issue and brought it to their attention, the immediate reaction was “discount tire is trying to sell you something, the tires are fine.” When that failed to make me happy (why would it?) they told me to come in, but in person they just told me, “well all mud tires are overinflated. That’s just how they work.” Obviously that is not true. They then offered to replace the tires for me at cost, which, even though I couldn’t afford it, I agreed to because the tires on the truck were unsafe. They told me they needed to check their inventory and they would contact me to set a service appt, that they absolutely couldn’t do it right then and there. That was three weeks ago and I haven’t heard a word from them. I attempted to call, again, but never got in touch with anyone. They allowed an unsafe vehicle to drive off their lot, brushed me off about it being an issue, and then ghosted me instead of fixing the problem. I’m now at discount tire getting new tires because I don’t want my wife and child to be injured by a blowout. More
