I have had to have service for a "check engine light twice since June. I bought the truck used about a year and a half ago. But, things happen. Both times Josh was the contact for my issues and I can't twice since June. I bought the truck used about a year and a half ago. But, things happen. Both times Josh was the contact for my issues and I can't say enough about his professionalism, courtesy, and caring that he showed with each visit. The first time was an oxygen sensor in my exhaust system that one dealership told me would take at least a month to repair. I explained that I bought the truck to pull my travel trailer and we were leaving in about 3 weeks on a trip to Montana wher my wife's sisters memorial service was being held. Josh told me he would do what he could to try to help. We got the truck back about 4 days before we were leaving and we were able to make it up there in time. The most recent issue occurred about 10 days prior to leaving for my 50th High school reunion. This time it was a "glow plug" and Josh was able to check with the technician to let me know that it was okay to drive it for the trip, but I would need it fixed before cold weather. So immediately after we returned, I got in for service and had it back in about 3 or 4 days, and it was covered under the drivetrain warranty. $0 plus the 40pt check done automatically on each service. I'll continue to use Gene Messer Chevrolet for service! And special thanks to Josh, his manager, and the technician who helped with my question about driving it and the manager who helped get me in and out in a reasonable time. Everyone was friendly, courteous and professional! They're great! More
