On Monday, November 18th, I sheduled to have a recall done, as well as have two things checked on my vehicle. I was told it would take one or two days to do. When I delivered my vehicle on Wednesday the done, as well as have two things checked on my vehicle. I was told it would take one or two days to do. When I delivered my vehicle on Wednesday the 20th, I was told it would take three to four days. On Wednesday, one week later, I had to call about my vehicle. I was told they were still working on it. When I said it had been a week, I was told to hold. When they got back to me, I was told it was ready. When I got there, I had to wait till it was brought out to me from the back. The one hour recall program was done on the first day. It took the other technicians a week to decide the vehicle needed a new battery. If not for the fact I still have bumper to bumper coverage for the next two and a half years with you, I would take my vehicle elsewhere. Your people will have to do a lot better for me to start trusting you again. As a life long Ford owner, I hope you do do better. More
I made an appointment one week in advance for a recall repair. I was told on arrival it would be the end of the week before they could get to it and the parts were not on hand. I asked for the service man repair. I was told on arrival it would be the end of the week before they could get to it and the parts were not on hand. I asked for the service manager and after a wait of approximately 15 minutes he showed and asked to see my recall notice. He went to see if they had the parts and miraculously they had one set of toe links in stock. After a few hours they texted me and tried to upsale me a rear end alignment which I declined considering there was no wear on my tires. Next recall, I will use Pollard Ford. I don’t appreciate all the xx and upsale. My wife has had similar experiences with Gene Messer VW. The last time they tried to sell her a set of tires when she asked them to check for a slow leak. Told her air was seeping out of cracks in the sidewalls. It took me five minutes to find a nail that was causing the leak. Took it to Walmart and the fixed it for nothing. “Stealership” is an appropriate term for this place. More
