We like ford products, however, the service at Gene Messer service dept is abysmal. I called to drop my car off because of a recall. It should take 1/2 day and we could pick up. When we got there, they said they needed the car for a week. ??? They said there were 800 cars in front of me! Ok. So I rescheduled for 8/3/24 so they could have the part ready. My husband also noticed a noise when he cranked the enjoy. They assured us that they could fix but had to order the part- it’d take about a week. Great because I was going out of town and didn’t need my car for a few days. I got back to town on 8/15 and the car wasn’t ready. They hadn’t ordered the replacement until 8/12! I said I needed a loaner or rental. They finally said they’d get me a loaner. It was fine except the A/C didn’t work. We took it back to the dealership. We were not driving in 100 plus degree temps. Finally went to the service dept and got our car. It’s 8/29. So they DO NOT have great service. I think the GM and service manager need to get together and look at the meaning of service. There was a rude person who maligned me because “ it’s just a 2019” vehicle “ meaning why do I want to fix the car and why not trade it in. I explained that it is my car and I like and it was still under warranty. I observed at least 6 service techs sitting at their stations and 2 cars in the bay. Will probably NOT buy another Ford product, knowing I won’t get decent service. More
