Gene Messer Ford of Lubbock

First brought in my vehicle for an issue a couple weeks back in which the service tech stated he couldn't find any issue but I had a log of errors on the Ford Pass app stating it was a powertrain malfuncti back in which the service tech stated he couldn't find any issue but I had a log of errors on the Ford Pass app stating it was a powertrain malfunction. Took it to another mechanic where they discovered the issue in a couple of hours. Took it back to the dealership since I've had the truck for 6 months, told them the diagnostic but I figure with warranty coverage, they needed to perform another diagnostic only to find the same issue that was discovered by the other mechanic. Repair took nearly a week for a turnaround. It was a bit frustrating with them not finding the issue when I first took it in even though my Ford Pass App stated multiple times what the error was. Communication was good when I was able to talk to the Service rep. Comparing this service department to others that I have dealt with in the past in other cities, this one lagged behind. I understand the workload can cause estimated times to slide but would appreciate better communications in the future. More

Had my car for a week to replace a belt and didn’t fix the start stop issue and had to take it back. Took it back today to get oil changed that they were supposed to do when they replaced the belt but did the start stop issue and had to take it back.
