Had my Tacoma's 15000 mile service completed. Drove 2 hours to get my service completed and was disappointed with the service drive hospitality upon arrival. Asked for a shuttle ride to the mall while my truck was serviced and was informed that they use UBER, how disappointing. This is the first and only Toyota dealership that I know of that uses Uber to shuttle customers. After texting the service advisor to see if my truck service was completed, I asked for a return shuttle and was informed that the dealership was unable to get us a ride back to the dealership. I asked the advisor is they had a contingency plan, you know a backup plan, he said no. After a bit, the dealership had an employee, who was the sweetest guy, come pick us up. The personal touch that Toyota is known for was lost by using an Uber and my safety as a customer was over looked by using an Uber. This could have all been avoided by having a Gene Messer Toyota shuttle available for customers. The service drive needs to work on greeting customers upon arrival, as soon as they arrive (try, "Good morning, we will be right with you.") My family has purchased 3 truck and a car from this dealership, we compared Gene Messer Toyota to a Lexus dealership, we'll not anymore. The customer care is slipping and no longer worth my 2 hour drive. More
