My Great Experience at Gene Steffy in Fremont, NE On June 11, 2014, I stopped at Gene Steffy in Fremont, NE, to see what type of used vehicles they had to offer, because I had significant hail damage On June 11, 2014, I stopped at Gene Steffy in Fremont, NE, to see what type of used vehicles they had to offer, because I had significant hail damage to my current vehicle and my insurance company had totaled the vehicle completely. The salesman named Bryan Spilinek, greeted me with a smile & asked if he could be any service to me. When I told him why I was at the dealership, Bryan actually listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle. He had shown me a couple of vehicles, & he was very informative as I test drove them. We then took time to discuss the price of a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I had explained to Bryan how I was just looking for now, since I needed to wait for my insurance company to pay me for my current car & Bryan had took that EXTRA STEP & offered to hold the vehicle for me, since I told him how I really liked the Jeep. A little over a week's time, I called Bryan & I went to pick up the Jeep. Overall, Bryan was so professional, & not pushy at all with me through the whole process. He answered every question that I had, & gave me GREAT customer service. I had stopped at another car dealership, in Omaha, NE, before I stopped at Gene Steffy, but that experience was a mistake on my part. The other dealership had pushed vehicles on to me, that I didn't even want, & this proved to me that they weren't listening to my needs at all, let alone when I wanted to leave the dealership, they tried to keep me there. My experience with Kathy G., the finance officer, was GREAT also. She explained everything in full detail & answered all my questions too. Kathy even mentioned that if I have any questions later, to give her a call, and she seemed like she actually meant it. Another example of GREAT customer service. I have verbally spoken to some of my friends about the GREAT customer service that is offered at Gene Steffy, and encouraged them to go look at some vehicles there, because they have experienced the hail storms and need another vehicle as well. I was working with multiple dealerships in the Omaha area and wasn't pleased with poor customer service My experience at Gene Steffy has been amazing. I was working with multiple dealerships in the Omaha area and wasn't pleased with poor customer service, unnecessary phone calls and their way of calculating the cost of a vehicle with monthly payments instead of the true purchase price. So, I decided to look for dealerships in surrounding areas. I started with an email inquiry to Mark about a specific vehicle that I found online and received a prompt reply to my message with a price estimate. I drove to Fremont the next day after work to test drive the vehicle and worked with Ed, a friendly and knowledgeable salesman who was easy to get along with. We finalized the cost of the vehicle and I was offered (not forced) extended warranties. Finally, I met with Randal to finalize the financial paperwork. Purchasing this vehicle was so much more enjoyable than any other experience I've had. I'll definitely recommend them to friends and family. More

Gene and his team are truly a cut above and "walk the walk" when it comes to customer service. All dealers SAY they have terrific customer service, but unfortunately, many do not. I could tell this place was different from the moment I walked in the door and met Tom Connell. Low pressure, nice, helpful -- made me feel like an old friend. As I narrowed down my choices and closed the deal on my new Ram pickup over the course of the next several days, I had the chance to interact with several others on the staff including the GM Tim Hoshor, Finance Mgr Randal Martin, and Internet Mgr Mark Kucera. They all went out of their way to ensure I was taken care of. Prompt responses to phone calls and emails, and straight shooters all the way. In my mind, a sure tell tale sign of sincerity and integrity -- is how they treat you AFTER the sale. And, on this important point, the team at Gene Steffy shines. Tom has called and emailed several times to make sure I'm 100% satisfied and to ask if he can answer any questions or do anything else for me. I'll happily recommend this dealership to my family, friends, and co-workers. More
