When I called to set up the service date, I was not told the cost of the 30,000-mile service for my QX80. When I was at the dealership, upon service completion, I was not able to get the bill. I initially bought my 2017 Infiniti Q60 RS for purchasing extended warranty because my factory warranty will be up in a month. I was debating if I wanted to keep the car or sell and buy the new 2023 Jaguar extended warranty because my factory warranty will be up in a month. I was debating if I wanted to keep the car or sell and buy the new 2023 Jaguar F Type SVR, unfortunately due to short inventory that deal fell through. I was told that there is a fee for inspection no problem paying for the inspection. However the mechanic (Kevin R) that was assign to do the inspection I felt he was kind of careless when he conduct the inspection. I was waiting in the Lounge when I hear an engine is revving high as I walk through the s.a office, I saw that the sounds were coming from my car. I asked the s.a why the mechanic is revving the engine that high? He told me that's the way to check for alternator charging. I am sorry but that was xx, because there is scan tools or other electric device available today that can detect if the alternator is charging and the test the battery. When I got the car back I notice the fenders have grease on it. I keep my cars garage kept indoor and don't drive it in rain or snow so I know for sure that grease was obtain from the shop. Finally I did end up buying the extended warranty and work with David Kaslinger who was excellent with his work. More
