The used car I bought needed a switch replaced (this was known prior to purchase). They ordered the part and put it in the same day. The problem persisted and they let me use a brand new Legacy until the problem was fixed. They went above and beyond as far as I was concerned. Sam (my service adviser) was also a pleasure to work with. He explained everything in a way I could understand and was very helpful. The only negative issue was a wait greater than 1-hour to meet with the business person to do the paperwork and payment. They need to improve this. More

Crosstrek My '99 Subaru Outback was finally on her last legs (to be fair, she had almost 260k miles on her). Driving her had become downright dangerous. Part of why I put it off for so long was that I dreaded going to a dealership but after years of buying uncertified pre owned cars, I was ready for a change. Center Subaru is not near where I live but they had a 2005 Outback I was interested in. From the time I submitted my inquiry on their website, they were responsive and in the most pleasant non-intrusive way. The morning before I left to go check out the car, I got a call from them saying that they thoroughly went through the car, found that it had too many problems and so were sending it to auction. I could have nixed the trip and went with a dealer closer to me but I got a good vibe from these people and appreciated the transparency. So, I fired up Bernadette for the last time and we took a beautiful drive to Torrington. I had done the minimum amount of legwork/shopping around. The thought of going to multiple dealerships, haggling, comparing costs just made me cringe. I didn't know if Bernie was worth anything in trade. I just knew I didn't want to be the one to send her to her grave and that I needed to drive a new vehicle home that day. My salesperson was Andrew, a younger guy who has been at the dealership less than 6 months. I don't know anything about his previous experience but he was a great match for me. Optimistic, no pressure, a genuine interest that was not just motivated by the desire to make a sale. He spent three hours with me that day, listened to all of my sappy stories about my life with Bernadette, and without any hint of annoyance, repeatedly answered all of my questions, some of which I asked 2,3 times. I ended up purchasing the second car that I test drove. The route that they take you on for the test drive is excellent, by the way. It's a good 10 minutes and gives you plenty of time to get a feel for the car. I really could go on. It was a meaningful and sentimental day for me. Andrew was great and let me have my ceremonious, nostalgic good bye while also gently reassuring me I had made the right decision and it was OK to let Bernie go and embrace my almost new safe, solid Crosstrek. I almost lost my mind seeing a touchscreen at the console (I'm used to a tape deck). Before I left, Andrew went through all the Bluetooth/hands free features with me. I really appreciated the time that was spent. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone was fantastic and I feel reassured with them as my go-to people for anything Fern and I may need in the future. More
