Bought Truck, Issue ignored, $1000 repair later I purchased with my Dad a truck from this dealership. The mechanic said that my rear defroster is supposed to get that hot. He also says that me having tint on the rear window could cause it to get that hot. LIFE CHANGED FOR THE WORST BEWARE I purchased a vehicle from Matick Chevrolet on December 9th,2019. I chose this dealership over at least 10 others that I visited, I felt like this HUG I purchased a vehicle from Matick Chevrolet on December 9th,2019. I chose this dealership over at least 10 others that I visited, I felt like this HUGE dealership could be trusted...boy was I wrong & boy did it cost me!!!! On January 31st, 2020 the $6700 2011 Chevy equinox I purchased from Matick started making a very loud noise while I was driving it. Once I got it home I parked it. I didn't move it for a day. My ex husband then came over to move it on the street and it wouldn't start, this was February 2nd, 2020.I had it towed to the dealership on February 3, 2020. I was given the "as is" talk by a rude person at a counter across from the GM of used car sales. Then I was told to "calm down" because this person couldn't fathom why I was crying uncontrollably over my truck that wasn't even 2 months old & I owed a note on. Sam, the GM of used car sales came & took me into his office, he said I was told that the vehicle wasn't inspected. I was NEVER told that. EVER. I was told it had no warranty and I couldn't purchase one from Matick, that I was told. Sam waived the $120 fee to put it on the machine to find out what was wrong...then I was told I needed $1000 because it was an engine issue & it cost that much just to take the engine out. I was also given information to take a loan out to cover the cost, which I did because at this point I needed my vehicle to get to work, get my kid to school and my dad to chemotherapy. After almost a week I was told it was something in the engine and the cost would be $4850. I almost had a nervous breakdown. I actually went to the hospital twice for panic attacks due to this issue with the truck. Sam had the price lowered to $3500, which I had to beg my credit union to give me a loan for $2500. Now that the truck is "fixed" which it runs like crap now, the steering wheel shakes, which it didn't do before, but anyway I'm left to pay a car note for $6700, a loan for $1000 and a loan for $2500 for a vehicle I trusted Matick Chevrolet to sell me with no extreme issues. I make $15.77 an hour. My child and I are collecting food from food banks because I can't afford groceries. I'm barely keeping a roof over our head. I keep writing to anyone who will help me because I got screwed over so bad. I could have just bought a $500 piece of junk from a side street dealership by my house & came out better! Matick Chevrolet is all in the Redford paper as being so great & so good. I took that to mean that I wouldn't get taken advantage of and boy was I wrong. I have no idea how I'm going to cover all these costs but I keep praying that God keeps me together so I can keep going. I had to take my daughter out of cheer because I couldn't afford the gas to get her to the games and I have to try & find extra shifts at work to help pay these extra loans, so we can't go to girl scout events either. I know this probably won't matter to anyone. But I was obligated to write about this experience. $10,200 for a 2011 Chevy Equinox that still runs like crap. Someone once said bad things happen to good people, I truly believe that. It happened to me. More

Terrible I have to thank those guys for being so bad that it kept me from making a deal with them. They told me there was no need to make a deposit as they had no other calls and I could come at lunchtime to see it. 30 minutes of driving later, I arrive at the dealership only to be told that the car was sold. What level of incompetency is this? At least expert level. But in the end I am glad I didn't buy anything from them when I saw how they were treating customers, and after I learnt they were making fake reviews to keep a good rating on several sites..... More
