This is a follow up to my previous review, where I was critical of the Service Dept. I do stand by my foregoing words; however, since that time the Gerald Ford General Manager Tom K. called me to discuss critical of the Service Dept. I do stand by my foregoing words; however, since that time the Gerald Ford General Manager Tom K. called me to discuss my displeasure with that service visit and iron out any wrinkles. The Service Manager Vito also called to speak with me. In addition, my original Salesperson Aaron G. called to explain the details of my warranty and offered to answer any additional questions. All were very courteous and professional. More
Highly recommend Gerald Ford service, especially Vito and his team! I brought them my 1 month old F150 that I purchased new from another dealer. That dealer incorrectly installed a ford accessory and wouldn’ his team! I brought them my 1 month old F150 that I purchased new from another dealer. That dealer incorrectly installed a ford accessory and wouldn’t return my phone calls leaving me with a new truck with 300 miles and error codes popping up on the dash. I gave them 3 chances to call me back and they never did. Needing to get my truck fixed I took to Gerald Ford which is much closer to my house than the dealer I purchased from. Vito worked with me to get my truck fixed without having to pay what they truly deserved. They’ve earned a new customer out of this experience and I can’t wait to come back for all my maintenance and Ford needs over the other guys! Thank you so much Vito and team!!! More
The dealership was fine. Service Dept. gets a zero. I'm sure the Ford Technician are great, however most of the service personnel acted like I was wasting their time. They were MUCH more focused on convincing me to take the shuttle ride home than wait, telling me "It could be 2-3 hours before they even see my car." In that case, what's the point of even making an appointment? To add insult to injury, they were unable to repair my car. A part had to be ordered; which I understand. But that process of waiting/being driven home just to wait more for them to return my car would have left me without a vehicle all day. That is unacceptable to me. When I asked about a loaner car, they all acted like I was trying to borrow money or something! I'll never return there again. More

I literally walked in 20 minutes before closing on a Saturday, but Brian, Jonathan, Kaine, and Frankie treated me like I was their first customer of the day. They found exactly the car I wanted, streamlined the entire financing process, and even delivered the car to me a couple of days later. This is not your typical "crappy dealership" experience. A huge thank you to the whole team, especially Jonathan and Brian, for making this the best car-buying experience I've ever had. If you’re in the Naperville area, do yourself a favor and come here—it is so much better than Fair Oaks. Absolutely amazing! More
