Back in early April my wife's Ford Flex internal water pump failed. Towed to it this dealership as they were the closest. They replaced the water pump, timing cover, timing chain, and other related parts. pump failed. Towed to it this dealership as they were the closest. There is oil dripping from the passenger side of the engine were the timing cover mounts to the engine. Today my wife was driving home from work when the battery light came on. She managed to get home and I checked and found one of the belts had shredded to the alternator pulley. Now I have to have it towed to another dealer because Gerald Ford obviously didn't seal the timing cover properly which caused the oil leak and subsequent belt failure, as the oil was dripping on the belt. More
What is the purpose of an "appointment" if you have to leave the car and can't wait? I called to bring the car in for a recurring front end noise issue. After the repairs were done, the front end was making noises when the steering wheel was turned. Took it back in, they said they made adjustments. The same noise is back so I called to make an appointment and was told I needed to leave the car.and I couldn't wait. What is the purpose of having an appointment? In the past I've been satisfied with them but I'll go somewhere else now. More

I had not run my Ford for over a year because of Covid. Went to Gerald Ford to have an oil change and complete inspection as I have always done in the past. Before I left I noticed the air in the tires were all down 5-7lbs each, but since I was going in for the oil change and inspection, I didn't want to drag my air compressor out. Oil change was over 20% higher than last time, and I was told my rewards program was changed because of new ownership. Ok, I understood that. Prices go up. At the end of the oil change I was handed one single sheet saying everything was inspected, period. I used to get a complete break down of tire tread, camber, castor, battery strength. etc. Now nothing. Finally, when I got home I noticed tires still looked a little low. I checked them and they were at the exact pressures that I had observed before I went for the oil change. If they did not even check my tire pressures, what else did they skip. Sorry everyone. You seem like nice people and I will miss dealing with you, but I wonder how many other people like me, just don't show up anymore, and don't bother to say why. I wish you the best and I hope that this is viewed as a postiive for improvement. More
