Good dealership - GREAT Salesperson (Ashleigh) I was in the hunt for a new truck. I visited over a dozen different dealerships and spoke with scores of people. After two days of hunting I narrowe I was in the hunt for a new truck. I visited over a dozen different dealerships and spoke with scores of people. After two days of hunting I narrowed my choices down to a RAM or Ford. Ashleigh was the salesperson that braved the damp cold to come out to see if I needed anything. She was very friendly, open, and honest with me. She showed me several different trucks and even located more when I asked. She would send me a text now and then to check on me, but didn't "blow up" my phone like some of the other dealerships were. My final purchasing decision was based on her. I wanted to give her the sell versus any other dealership. Even if my old business partner now sells Fords also and wanted me to come purchase from him. If you need a vehicle -- go to this dealership and ask for Ashleigh. You will not regret it. The rest of the staff and management team are also good people. Spent a good 15 mins talking with the finance person on various things. Overall an excellent experience. In fact this is our 3rd vehicle purchase in 2 years from a Gerald Jones dealership. More
2017 ford gt350 shelby bought on October 2019. I was told this car was a certified pre-owned car. I was not given the warrant history work on this car. I asked for the warranty work done on the car and I was this car was a certified pre-owned car. I was not given the warrant history work on this car. I asked for the warranty work done on the car and I was told there is no warranty work on the car, the car is in perfect condition and has low mileage. I told them that this car has Mark's all over the paint, damage on the front panel and high mileage for a shelby of 18,000 miles when most people have 4,000 miles on the car. I said why is the coolant in the car brown when it should pink brand new a d orange afterwards. They immediately did a coolant flush. I said the engine filter looks terrible and they replaced it. I went over the warranty extensions and I got 7yrs or 100,000 warranty that only covers certain parts in the shelby not the entire car. I was again told this is a certified pre-owned car and these are the warranties you can get on the car. During my 2 test drives I was told very quickly that this car was reaquired by ford, fixed for something minor and the car is good. I purchased this car. I drove the car up to my house. 2 days ago I got a letter package from FedEX by Grieco Ford in fort Lauderdale where there is 3 pieces of paper in this package. What it shows is a Georgia vehicle repurchase/ lemon law disclosure and warranty for me to sign so that I dont sue Gerald Jones ford in Augusta Georgia for the fact that they did the work of putting in a new engine in the car. I was given a 1 pg of 2 pg warranty history from Ford oasis system that tells me the engine and water pump was replaced December 2018. The other paper highlighted in yellow wanted me to sign that I have seen the warranty history of the car and I agree to all the work that has been done on the car but not date the paper. I was never told that the Engine was replaced on the car due to excessive oil consumption issues. Remember I was told that ford bought this car back only to do some minor work and the car is ok. Minor work of putting in new engine is not minor for a shelby that is major work. Keep in mind that the seller would had to disclose this work when grieco ford purchased it. Remember I was also told this car is a certified pre-owned car well since the engine has been replaced in the car ford will not allow you to certify the car because of there being a new engine in the car. That means I did not buy a used certified pre-owned car and I bought a shelby with an engine replacement again without my knowledge. When I called the used grieco ford manager the other day after receiving that package from grieco ford for Lauderdale with a package in it address to grieco ford for Lauderdale wanting me to sign those papers, I first asked the question this car is a certified pre-owned car right. The used car manager said yes it is. I told him that the engine had been replaced in the car ,he said where does it say that on the car fax. I told the manager lol in your oasis ford system and he was finally able to find where it says from gerald jones ford replaced the engine. At first he said it just says they replaced some parts on engine. I told him that it says they replaced the long block which is code for sub assemblies of the engine which is the engine. Oh. I told him that you sold me a car with a new engine in it and never told me it was replaced. He said that well we didn't know the engine was replaced. I told him that one it is in your oasis the ford system. I said with this car being a certified pre-owned car you would have seen the number of the new engine doesn't match this car. You would have that information and I was not given this information. I would not have bought this car with a new engine being replaced, I would have purchased another car with low mileage in Florida or a brand new shelby. Keep in mind at this time I thought this car was a certified pre-owned car when remember I found out from another Ford dealership that this car cannot be certified because the engine has been replaced. Now I have a car with engine being replaced and not certified where I was never given this informationinformation at the time of purchase. I want other buyers to be aware of this dealership and gerald jones ford in Augusta Georgia who did not put the engine replaced on the car fax of this car. The only thing this fort Lauderdale dealership did was replace the battery and windshield wipers. Again not certified this car. More
