Leasing an Outback Overall the experience was positive. We didn't feel pressured into buying or leasing. The test drive track was awesome! One issue: We were asked to write a check for the down payment and assured that it would not be cashed until the insurance money came in. It was cashed anyway which put us into a temporary NSF situation with our checking account. It was fortunate that we had a line of credit with the bank, so the check was covered. Please be more careful with that in the future. It was just lucky that I was looking at our bank statement and saw the negative balance and was able to correct it in time. More
