Buying a new car after after 11 years. I had a pleasure to meet Mike on a busy Saturday. I came to Subaru to test drive a Crosstrek after my car was totaled in an accident. Mike was so nice I had a pleasure to meet Mike on a busy Saturday. I came to Subaru to test drive a Crosstrek after my car was totaled in an accident. Mike was so nice and understanding and listened to my story and I didn't feel any pressure to buy a car that day. I actually wanted to test drive few other cars and he politely advised be to do so and to come back on Monday to take another look at Subaru cars. I returned happily the following Monday to Subaru after checking 5 other dealers because Mike was the NICEST salesman out there! He let me take the car for another drive and without any pressure listened to my opinion and gave me great feedback and I ended up buying a Crosstrek that night! Mike even stayed after hours to assist me with many additional questions and to go over all the paperwork. Together, we visited over four different Subaru dealers My father and I were in the market for two new Subaru Outbacks for quite some time (one year). Together, we visited over four different Subaru dealerships and were actively receiving quotes for several trims. Our first few visits did not go well, in that the dealers did not take our inquires very seriously and were not adamant about listening to our needs. That all changed when we arrived at Gerald Subaru in Naperville. Together, we were seen by Paulo. Paulo was amazing! My father and I harbor two separate personalities, being very difficult to work with in terms of buying two new vehicles, yet Paulo was able to appeal to both of our needs. While my father was most interested in bottom line pricing, I was in love with the actual features of the vehicle. Paulo cut to the chase with my dad while, miraculously, at the same time was able to spend as much attention to detail as I needed during my test drive. By respecting both of our purchasing styles, he was able to get both of us in our brand new cars THAT DAY! Not only that, but he has treated us with the utmost care to an extent unheard of! I live/work over forty minutes away from Gerald Subaru and—days later—when I wanted to alter my contract, Paulo personally drove to my work with the required documents in order for me to sign (saving me over two hours of commute and wait time!) I never had to leave the office AND he greeted me with the warmest smile. I highly recommend this dealership as they pull zero strings attached and treat you with respect. Only Mr. Manny Ghosh out of all who emailed, understood our quest and most importantly our timeframe . He was thankful, explained that figures are not available, weeks in the future, however, he will continue to be aware of my leasing parameters and keep me up to date and informed; his web brochures and video are helpful and informative. Mr. Eddy was very patient, knowledgeable and listens. He gave us some great options and kept us focus and sometimes a little relaxed. We were ready to leave, but he was interested to keep all lines open and continue on working out the numbers, he believed that we will acquire our vehicle and never gave up to complete our mission. As a result, we put off our search for a new vehicle for a few months. I researched various dealerships online and paid close attention to reviews. Something I hadn't done with the dealership I almost purchased an SUV from. Had I done my homework beforehand, I would have known the type of sales staff that worked at that particular location. My search for the right vehicle went on for a couple of months. I've spoken with various dealerships and sales staff but given our prior experience we wanted to work with a dealership who wasn't just trying to make a sale. We wanted to make a purchase, but also wanted to make sure that our needs were being met and most importantly, treated with respect. I have to say Nick and Ubaldo saw to it that our purchase was a positive one. It was so refreshing to work with both of them. I was looking for certain options in a SUV and Nick was able to make it happen. He wasn't pushy, just wanted to get us the right vehicle and work within our budget. Nick's love for our favorite baseball team(Cubs), sealed the deal. Sorry Nick, I had to throw that in. While this dealership was 45 minutes from our home, it was well worth the drive. The entire staff was great to work with. Thank you so much for turning a negative experience into a positive one. More
