Great Experience! Kris Rivers was delightful! He answered the phone yesterday morning regarding a car we were interested in. I could not get to dealership until after Kris Rivers was delightful! I could not get to dealership until afternoon but he kept me informed about the car's availability (there was someone else looking at it). When I got to dealership - he took me for a drive in the car, showed me all the features and highlights and then I drove it. There was NO pressure...just easy conversation. Felt like we had been friends for years! I decided to get the car...was not a hard sale for him, but regardless, he was honest and professional and streamlined the process. Really like Kris and highly recommend him to anyone! James did all the final paperwork with me...also very professional and friendly. No pressure...just honesty. Loved it. Enjoyed getting to know him and his history (ex-marine! impressive!). Said he loves Germain and respects company for their leadership and integrity...no reason he needed to say that, was just sharing. Great job by James. Finance Team takes advantage of customers When I bought my used CRV EXL the Germain Honda Finance team said my interest rate would be 16 percent, because I had bad credit. I couldn't believe i When I bought my used CRV EXL the Germain Honda Finance team said my interest rate would be 16 percent, because I had bad credit. I couldn't believe it and told him that I was going to check with my bank. He advised me to keep the loan that he negotiated for at least a year, so that my credit would improve before I tried to refinance, and inquiries would make it worse. About six month later, I decided enough was enough, and applied for a refinance at my local PNC bank. They refinanced it at a rate below 4 percent, and said that I did not have bad credit. When I called the lender that the Germain Finance Team used, in order to get the payoff, I asked to speak with a manager. I asked the manager to explain why my interest rate was so high. She said that a higher interest rate for me was in the best interest of the Germain Honda Finance Team, as a portion is paid to them, as much as 10k for that transaction. She also said that the longer I kept the loan, the more money the Finance Team was paid. That was why they asked me not to try to refinance until after a year. Wow. More
