Worse experience ever !!! Bought Honda accord 4 months back and when selling the car they showed me Carfax Report. Recently I came to know from one of the insurance company tha Bought Honda accord 4 months back and when selling the car they showed me Carfax Report. Recently I came to know from one of the insurance company that this car had a Major accident 6 months back and the airbag had been deployed. This is a serious safety issue and the car is worth nothing if I am going to sell to someone. I pulled the Autocheck Report and it clearly state the accident Report When contacted Germain Honda they said they cant do anything about it and they are not aware of the accident. I am not sure how such a big dealer is not aware of a serious accident and airbag deployment and selling such cars as clean cars. Last thing they promised was to appraise the car and they came up with something more than 5k depreciation in value, where essentially I am loosing 30% of the price in just 3 months. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable from such a big dealer. I am stuck and I wont be able to sell the car to anyone and I wont get fair value. If this is how they sell used cars it is a serious issue and should think twice about the quality of the cars and safety of the vehicles. Worse experience ever. More

More specifically, I wanted to stay within the 3-year old, 30k-80k mile "soft spot," so I was decided on getting a 2013 Civic. Germain Honda has a huge inventory of such vehicles - all seem to be under 50k miles, and some are even under 30k miles. I requested a quote and was contacted by Erin Daniel. She was super helpful in explaining the stock numbers and how their pricing structure worked, and found me an appointment slot during a busy Saturday. On the appointed day, I met with John Schmittauer (Schmitty). He had my car pulled up and ready, and we were driving around within minutes. He explained all the features of this particular car, and was able to verify that this particular vehicle was the cheapest 2013 Civic in a 100 mile radius! Needless to say, I ended up making the purchase. At the end, make sure to ask Schmitty to "sweeten the deal"! (you'll get the joke if you buy from him) More

Used CRV shopping - Very helpful employees We had been shopping for about a week or so for a used CRV. Ended up with a phone call from Jessica Kincaid (Internet dept.) as a result of a TrueCar We had been shopping for about a week or so for a used CRV. Ended up with a phone call from Jessica Kincaid (Internet dept.) as a result of a TrueCar search. Jessica was very pleasant (not pushy) asked what we were looking for and sent an email with some potential matching vehicles. We decided to go for an impromptu visit to the dealership where Jessica referred us to in store sales consultant Kris Rivers. Kris helped us work through the process of determining what features were important to us vs. just nice to haves and balancing that with the miles/age of vehicles for the budget we were looking to spend. In the end we feel that we got the car we wanted at a fair price. After having done multiple test drives and discussions with other dealerships I finally felt like someone was listening and ready to help us work through the selection process with us - rather than just put us in another test drive vehicle. The dealer also seemed to have a better selection of used vehicles to choose from (Honda CRV) that met our criteria. More
