We sincerely apologize for any miscommunication on our part as to the cost of services for your vehicle. The cost for the brakes and resurfacing the rotors was correctly quoted at $320.00 where the confusion came in was your vehicle is also due for a major service and timing belt replacement. This service is a $2,400.00 service and at this time is recommended but not necessary and is not related to the fixing of your brakes. Our responsibility to our guests is to make sure their vehicles are running at Honda optimal levels and to advise them of what services are needed or recommended to achieve this performance level. As the owner of the vehicle it is always your choice to allow our dealership to provide these services for you. I have already had my timing belt and water pump replaced earlier this year. So that definitely should not have been "recommended" to me. I specifically told the service representative that I was in for a B125 and I already had the water pump and timing belt replaced and was going to do the filters myself. So I just needed a B1 which is supposed to be a very in-depth check on my car(plus oil change and tire rotation) but for some reason I needed to pay an extra $70 to have an "oil leak" checked...I have never once seen a drop of oil on my garage floor.
