Failure from Sales, Service and Body Shop (3x customer) The TL:DR of this story is: Never, ever, ever, ever, ever (did I say ever?) trust Germain Honda sales, service, or body shop. The GM (Craig Ferguson) The TL:DR of this story is: Never, ever, ever, ever, ever (did I say ever?) trust Germain Honda sales, service, or body shop. The GM (Craig Ferguson) probably has no idea of all these issues -- such a shame. Part of me didn't want to write this review, because I've bought three vehicles from Germain Honda and had hoped that actually meant something. I also wouldn't have written this, but "three strikes" against the same dealership seems a bit egregious. With the exception of Woody Woodrow, who has been absolutely fabulous, Germain Honda of Dublin has been a complete failure for me and my family, with the following: 1) Sales treating me like an uneducated child. Being "talked down upon" from the used car manager wasn't my cup of tea. 2) The service department replacing the starter in our van, only to then drive it for more than 20 miles. When speaking with Tom on the incident he honestly said "I have no reason I could even make up for why they drove the van over 20 miles." At least he was honest about that, and he even offered a free oil change. During that same phone call I said "I'm a little leery about getting the body work I need done on the van because of these issues." 3) Had the body work completed this week. On Tuesday of this week, get a call from Bre that states "we removed the bumper to repair the van only to have one of the parking sensors break. The sensor itself had been "glued" so that no longer works. Its $300-400 to repair and your entire parking system won't work without it." Great, now I have a broken system. I decline to pay that amount, and the van work is completed. Pick up the van and low and behold...no pinstriping has been completed, even though the work order had it clearly stated on paper. According to Joe its a "5 minute fix" -- part of me is fearful that our family van may somehow break or be driven to Cleveland by the time it's actually corrected. Naturally, I have to leave work slightly early and get the striping done, because they are only open until 5pm on Friday... Fast forward to speaking with Melody Markham, the customer relations manager on Thursday morning. She seems genuinely interested in the situations I've described and assures me that she will follow up with Joe on getting the situation fixed. By 2pm Thursday, I haven't heard from anyone, Bre, Joe or Melody so I decide to call Melody. I'm not 100% what had happened, but the 2nd conversation it came across as though I had been passed on directly onto Joe, my past issues didn't seem to matter and I was bothering her. In my opinion, Steve Germain has the most disappointing dealership, service department and body shop on the Northwest side of Columbus. More

Love Germain Honda and my 2015 Honda Civic EX My mother purchased a Honda Civic from Germain Honda in Dubiln a few months ago and when I crashed and totaled my car on Feb. 21, 2015 she told me to My mother purchased a Honda Civic from Germain Honda in Dubiln a few months ago and when I crashed and totaled my car on Feb. 21, 2015 she told me to go see Frank Pulsinelli. She said he was great to work with and didn't pressure her. So, I did and am so happy I did. I was dreading the process and am happy to tell you that is was a good/fun experience. I LOVE my 2015 Honda Civic EX!! More
Germain Honda's 3 most valuable employees Charlie Ryan was tremendous to do business with in the service department. Two salesmen stand out above the rest. They both go out of the way to help customers of any sales representative, and would highly recommend either to anyone shopping at Germain. More
Amazing Experience Norman and the whole Germain family have always been a delight. We have purchased 3 vehicles (1 new and 2 used) over the past 3 years and everything Norman and the whole Germain family have always been a delight. They treat you just as well when you purchase a $30K vehicle as they do when you are looking for a deal on a used car and only spending $10K-$12K. Germain will defiantly be my first stop for all my future car needs More
Do not buy a used non-honda with a service plan In January of 2014 my wife purchased a used 2012 KIA Sorento from the used lot at Germain Honda of Dublin. Unfortunately I left before she complete In January of 2014 my wife purchased a used 2012 KIA Sorento from the used lot at Germain Honda of Dublin. Unfortunately I left before she completed the financing and she signed up for the "VIP Service Plan". While it is nice to have the shuttle it is an extreme inconvenience to not be able to even scan to the car to find out why the check engine light is on or perform something as easy as putting a new horn on the vehicle. The next issue was that I had to wait additional time for the correct oil filter to be brought in for the service. You would think that since they sold us the service plan and know we are going to be bringing the vehicle in that they would keep the correct cartridge oil filter in stock. While Kevin (in service) was extremely friendly I feel that my wife was misled when she was sold the service plan when she initially purchased the vehicle. This is defiantly not "VIP" treatment. In fact I am now overpaying for routine service of my vehicle and it would have been more convenient to pay as I went and take it to the local KIA dealer that could have fixed the horn and the check engine light. Now I have take the vehicle in for another appointment at a KIA Dealership.... I would suggest if you buy a used vehicle to stay away from the financing guy that is attempting to up sell you on the service plan and seek service with the appropriate vehicle dealer or an independent mechanic you trust. More

Car shopping is one of the worst things I hate to do, maybe that is why I have not purchase a vechile in 10 years. Norman had the 1st accord ready when i arrived and ready for me to test drive. It was not to my liking so he had suggested 2 others that matched what I wanted. He was a professional in every aspect of the word. Service Charlie had seen me waiting for my appointment. It was 20 mins past my appointment and 25 minute of waiting. As soon as he was done with his appointment, he apologized for the delay and took care of my vehicle. I had seen 3-4 other folks walk past me and never offered to help. I don't look at this experience negatively because the way Charlie handled the situation. More

They literally tack this on to every service performed, even if no shop supplies are involved in the service. It's just a gimmick to make a few extra bucks on each transaction. I told Charlie I wasn't paying for that and he immediately took it off my bill. Charlie is fantastic and I'd go back to work with him anytime. More
